It was 1:15pm and the race was to begin at 2:00pm; the paddocks were emptying; the racers heading to the track to line up for their starting positions. MyMan, a beautiful, coal-black, three-and ½ year-old stallion, was jogging slowly, watching every move of the other horses as they continued their march to the track. MyMan, walking tall and proud under his colors of purple and white, was being announced as the sixth starting position in the starting gate, which to his trainer, Stefano and owners, Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Newsby, was possibly the best starting position for him.
