Since leaving the health service in October 2006, after ten years of experience, she acquired casual work as a fashion assistant for fashion parade events around Sydney through Niche Product Marketing in 2007. In July 2007, Sharlene was offered a full-time position at Fairfax Media as an administration assistant—news agency contracts. In 2008, she was offered the role as credit officer (accounts receivable)—advertising agency accounts, Fairfax Media. Since leaving Fairfax Media in January 2010, she has worked in various office contract roles around Sydney via recruitment agencies and is now focusing on her creative talents such as story writing, singing, fashion, and make-up artistry. Sharlene believes that confidence, persistence, and continually enhancing your knowledge and skills will bring well deserved rewards and success. Sharlene has achieved a diploma in business and marketing (public relations and event management), a diploma in fashion styling, and certificates in make-up artistry. Sharlene is a friendly and easy-going person who is also dynamic and determined with a positive outlook on life. She enjoys going out on the town to popular night spots, restaurants, or shows, the beach and outdoors, taking time out to travel and spending time with friends and family. Sharlene has a keen eye for fashion and is always looking for that right outfit to suit the occasion. Sharlene has a strong interest in health and fitness, aromatherapy and massage, fashion, and make-up artistry.

    It was a perfect, warm sunny day in the town of Orchidville. It was Saturday morning and the beginning of the weekend for Gemma Goldsworth who couldn’t wait to get outside and enjoy it!

    Gemma was an enthusiastic 12 year old girl who loved to seek out an adventure. She had long wavy golden blonde hair and aquamarine eyes and was popular amongst her peers at school.

    She stepped outside the door of her house, where she lived with her parents and little brother Trent, and waved to her friend Tessa who was across the road in the front yard of her house.

    Tessa was a pretty girl with long straight chocolate brown hair and blue eyes, Gemma’s best friend and equally well-liked.

    Hi Gem, Tessa said as Gemma approached.

    Hey Tess, Do you want to go to the park? Gemma asked.

    Yeah sure, just need to take my little brother Jack inside to mum replied Tessa.
