At every duty station that I had, I did the same thing. Once you get in, its hard to get out. This was a very exciting and profitable business venture for me. I soon found myself making more money in a weeks time than the government paid me in a month.

What’s the difference between an escort and a prostitute?

Nothing really other than an escort meets with clients for fun and entertainment, for cash on the so called legal level. But we do have bad apples, just like any strip club or massage parlor. A prostitute meets with a client for cash for sex. That’s the bottom line on that one. It’s hard to say that escorts under the legal name don’t do the same as a prostitute, because you will always have a bad apple in any adult industry. No matter what anyone says, sex sells. They know that this line of work is fast money. When you look at commercials on television you can see that sex sells. But what I’m writing about will help those that are closed minded in this line of work, to understand the realities of what really goes on out there. Again, just be open minded as you read, ‘because you will see it from the point of view of an escort business owner, and not what you see and hear out there from others. This book will even help other newcomers in this line of work, including law enforcement. Especially them. Just remember, I speak the truth based on my real life experiences. I just can’t use some of my real words in this book for fear of offending readers. I intend to get the real point across to all law enforcers who are harassing these escorts, who really need help both mentally and financially. I plan to donate a portion of the proceeds from this book to certain charities to help those in need of help but can’t afford it. That is the main reason that I started this escort business to help get prostitutes off the streets and into a more positive environment. You see, I grew up in the poorest places of St. Louis, Missouri, and have seen every thing from drugs to sex on the streets. I learned a lot about people. Learning people is fun. The money that some of these escorts are making; I wish it was me when I was growing up. Trust me; you would be very surprised of their income. But many just use it on drugs and alcohol. Sometimes I get to the point where I see that many still don’t care when you are trying to help them. But many really do. It takes a lot of guts to write a book like this, being afraid of it back firing in my face with the law. I know that I have helped thousands in this line of work, where as, the state couldn’t or wouldn’t. Now let’s get down to business.

To all escort services. The state gives us a license to operate our business, and the law punishes us for running our business. I think it is time to fight back. By writing this book, I am exposing myself to legal scrutiny, but I feel this story must be told. My business has been running for many years now. I have a lot of knowledge that can be passed on to other services that are already up and running or just starting up. Even though your way of thinking may be different from mine, realize that I am speaking from my experience. I have talked to many new owners about the risks of operating an escort service. Many do listen, but most don’t because they think they know it all. That is why many are still sitting in jail right now. Usually those that don’t listen go down faster than the ones that do listen. A little knowledge in any business goes a long way. Take it for what it is worth to you. This book contains a lot of information that will make you more successful and aware in the adult industry. This business will take a lot of your personal time and will cause untold stress. The stress could even lead to drinking or, even worse, drug abuse. The sacrifices you make will cause many sleepless nights, and could damage your health. But that’s the sex business. Sex sells. Many companies sell their products using sex. You see it every day, and there is nothing said. But when you use a direct approach in this line of work, you are called a Pimp (if you are a male) and a Madam (if you are female), and the whole world frowns upon you.

Stress alone will make you want to quit, but the money that comes in will keep you going and going. You have to worry about escorts trying to rip you off, undercover pimps, threats, undependable escorts, people applying for jobs trying to get your escorts to work for them and other escorts owners lying on you, trying to make you out to be something that you are not so that your girls will leave you. Some escorts are so desperate to make money; they lie to the service saying they checked out, but are still at the client’s location, so they can keep the extra money. These are some of the issues that we deal with every day. In this line of work, I’ve always said, don’t trust anyone. The things I have mentioned here is just a small part of what really goes on in the escort business. You can’t even trust your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband or significant other. Trust me; they will cross you for that fast money. Basically, everyone is trying to cross and hustle each other. Money talks in this business.

This is an excellent business of easy and fast money. Though you know what you are doing out there on the streets, you must remember; more money, more problems. We have to deal with escorts getting raped, attacked and sometimes killed in this business. You must make sure you have good security of your escorts. A lot of escort services don’t really care, just as long as you go make that money. This is the reason a lot of escorts get hurt. That is one of the many reasons we have a very high turnover in this business. I always get rid of the ones I don’t trust and the ones that talk too much, including druggies, drunks, etc… These are the escorts that will get you in real trouble, real fast.

So think about the things that I have mentioned, and you will be more aware of what’s going on in your business. I would ask many of you to write a book as well, to get the word out from your perspective. We will get more in details later in this book so I can try to help give you a better understanding on how this really works. I been in many book stores to find books like this, and was unsuccessful. So take the time to read my point of view about the do’s and don’ts of running a more profitable and successful escort business.

Again, I’m writing this book based on an adult business owner’s point of view. Even though many people have their own opinions as to what the average escort, dancer, stripper, etc., really do in this line of work, you would be surprised. In some cases, it’s not what you think. Meaning, you will always have a bad apple in the bunch, even at the grocery store. But you have to see why you have those so called bad apples. You have to see that many will do what they have to do to make ends meet. Regardless of what it is. That’s just life. You would lie; steal, cheat etc., to get what you want. Why do you think people are out there selling drugs? Life is not easy at all, if you don’t have the tools to get where you want to be. That is the reason you make sacrifices and become, what we call, the bad apples. Money is the key to getting ahead. The sacrifices that you decide to make just to make life better for you regardless of the outcome, can include breaking the law, which we have all done at some point in our lives. You sometimes have to put your pride to the side to make it happen. I have plenty of times. It’s sad to say that the cops charging the escort for prostitution, (whether they committed this crime or not), are the same ones that use the service. They are sometimes the same cop the escort serviced the other day. Still today, that is one of the main reasons I do not trust the system. They love to come after the business owners, hoping for a scare to get us to shut down, and everyday, someone does. We are just a referral agency who connects a potential client with an escort. It’s not like we go with them on their calls to monitor what they do. Those escorts that might be performing illegal acts are told during my interview, right off the bat, not to talk about their calls, unless it is on a need to know basis. That means, I don’t want to know what they did, and others don’t need to know what they did on their call. But the system really thinks we make escorts go out and do whatever. I would never ask an escort what happened on their call, because that puts me in jeopardy by knowing what the escort is really doing. In this line of work, you keep you mouth shut. And I do mean keep it completely shut. So when the system sees that they can’t get to you by talking to your escorts, they start setting them up to get busted so that they can get you. That’s why you have to make sure that your escorts are trained properly. The ones that talk too much, you don’t want on your band wagon. The one’s that are mentally weak or easy to scare if they get interrogated, you don’t want on your band wagon. Get rid of them. The one’s that you think might be doing what they are not supposed to do. Get rid of them. They will only get you busted. I have been busted twice since I have been doing this. Back in 1998, I was found not guilty of Pandering and Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution. I also found out that the system will pay the escorts to lie and give them immunity, so they can get a good bust on you. In 2003, they tried to bust me again for the same thing. As of the writing of this book, almost two years later, I have still not been to court. They even served me with an outdated search warrant, ransacked my home, confiscated and kept all my records and computer equipment, hoping that I would get scared and shut down my business. They went so far as to have local news crews run stories throughout the state, labelling me as the owner of some kind of giant prostitution ring. Didn’t work, I love to fight back. That is the reason for writing this book. You will find that after you get caught up in the legal system, no one wants to hear you. On my second case, I still have not seen a judge yet. Almost two years. But just think. I spent over ten thousand dollars to get out of jail on bail and ended up with a crooked attorney who tried to bleed me for all that he could. The legal system makes good money off of escort services. You will go through all that bull, just too finally go to court to be found not guilty. But the bad thing about it is that the system already knows, before they even arrest you, that you will be found not guilty, but you will contribute a sizable amount of money to gain your freedom. You are going to be a target because the state wants that money, and beside, the officers would love to harass you so that they can see your escorts. I remember a situation where one of my escorts was busted for prostitution, (though no sex act was performed). She was told by the arresting officer that he would drop the charges if she would go out with him. She refused, and guess what; she was arrested and hauled off to jail. She got out the following day, and he actually called the service on his off time to meet with her. The system is not right at all, but you still have to keep in mind, there are good cops and bad cops; they are human as well.

I remember I got arrested in my own house for a PI (Public Intoxication). In my own house! What happened was, I called the cops on my x girlfriend, and they took me to jail. I just called them to remove her because we were fighting. The point of what I’m getting at is my x girlfriend was a model type and everyone loved her. When the cops arrived, this particular officer thought that he had the opportunity to get rid of me, so that he could sweet talk her. Of course, she didn’t fall for it. But they do try. Constantly potrolling my house, hoping to see the girl that he is in love with that he saw on the website. They would even see cars in my drive way and run the escorts plates just to find out where they live. But officers are not the only ones that do that. Even clients, if they know where we are based. Stalkers. Get plenty of those. So that’s why being an escort, you have to be very careful. This is one reason why a lot of escorts want to stay at home and be on call. When the cops are running the escorts plates so that they can find out if they have warrants, and uses that to knock on my door, just so they can see their dream girl. And this is the reason a lot of escorts rather have someone drop them off, instead of driving their cars to work. It’s bad to go to jail for just owning a business of referrals. Escorts are not even, by law, employees. They are considered by law as independent contractors who are willing to help them make some money. The law says that what happens between two consenting adults is their business, but they never say anything about money exchange. To me, that is entrapment, especially if they set it up.

I have created some very good topics in this book. They are categorized so that you can read what ever may pertain to you, or your situation. Whether you are an escort service owner, escort, stripper or dancer, something in this book will help you. Later, you will read about my real life court experiences. It will shock you. So, for now, let’s talk about some of the real reasons why people use escort services.

Money

Let’s face it, everyone needs money. But many need fast money. So that is why many join our team of escorting. It pays the bills faster than the average nine to five pay check. That is a joke when it comes to making your forty hours a week pay check in thirty to sixty minutes. If you are good hustler, you can do all that with one client in one hour and make your month’s rent. Some come just to make fast cash for a couple of days, to pay off bills, and come only when they see themselves falling behind. Some even ask me for loans for personal favours, but that’s what you don’t do. It will get you in trouble, even though you want to help, but it’s not my job to pay escorts for sexual favours. They will steal from you and other escorts, if they leave their purses lying around. That’s why I tell them not to brag about what they are making, or the tips that they have made. There are plenty of predators in this line of work. They will do what they have to do, to make their ends meet. Stealing is the biggest problem in this business. This is just fast money in the legal way. Cops call the owners pimps. I tell the cops, I’m just an owner, a businessman, not a pimp, even though they don’t believe me.

Since I am a referral service, I only get forty percent of what the escort makes. The escort keeps all their tips. It is against the law for the owner to keep a penny of their escort’s tips. Many escort services don’t realize this. If you take the escort’s tips, you are pretty much a pimp.

Sex workers

It would be nice to think that everyone in this business is ethical and honest. Yeah right. But I come to realize that in every profession, there are those who you can and cannot trust. If you want to keep your fellow sex workers from turning on you, and reporting you to the owner or police, you need to behave toward them in a way that won’t make them angry or jealous of you. This means that you should practice the golden rule. Don’t do anything to them that you wouldn’t want them to do to you. Don’t steal clients from them, don’t cheat them out of money you may or may not owe them. If you get a chance to do a two girl show, tell them if you have contracted a sexually transmitted disease so they can get a medical check-up and take care of the problem. Trust me; in this line of work, you don’t know who is doing what when they go out on a call. If you have contacted them for a two girl show, and the client cancels, let them know that the client cancelled so they can make other plans.

If you work for more than one escort service, be up front about it. The escort service owners will find out. Don’t get greedy and try to go around the service to see one of their clients on your own. If they have a policy that allows you to see their client on your own, after you pay the first or second cut to them, that’s fine. If you and a fellow service owner agree to exchange clients rather than a cut, you should be fair with them and give them as much work as they give you, or let them know you can’t and offer to pay a cut instead.

The great majority of escorts are college students and desperate housewives who are not getting the love and attention they need at home. Some escorts are criminals on probation or parole, and tons are prostitutes who find it easier to work for a service than to walk the streets.

Clients

It has happened in the past that clients have turned in their escorts and owners in to the police because they did not get what they expected. But as escorts, you have to take care of your clients, if they are spending large sums of money with us. If they feel they have been ripped off, or cheated out of time or money, they might feel it is okay to report you to the police. That would not be wise of them, because it may backfire in their faces. By the time the cops get there, you would be long gone. The police know that they are angry because they didn’t get any sex. Be sure that you treat all clients in a fair and reasonable manner. If you think they are cheating you out of money, tell them to their face rather than trying to get even by shorting them on time. This kind of actions hurts your service. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising in this line of work. Many escorts think their Clients are dumb, yeah right. Most Clients think escorts are dumb. Most clients want you to be as discreet as possible. They will let you know upfront.

There is nothing one can do about rude behaviour except to politely let the client know you will not be available for him again if he calls. If the client really wants to see you again, tell him that in the future, he must pay you something extra if he doesn’t give you notice of a cancelled appointment or if he is late. It is good policy to always be polite to your clients even if they do behave badly, because it would be you and not them getting arrested if they really wanted to drop a dime on you. Not just you, the business as well. Clients are the one’s that are making it possible for you to make your ends meet in this line of work, so why do them wrong? Clients make your car payments, house payments and other bills; and you want to rip them off? Not a fair game. Now you see why if they don’t feel comfortable with the escort over the phone, they will either hang up, or just lose interest in the call.

Most clients are good spenders and very nice people. In this line of work you get all kinds of clients. Businessmen, judges, lawyers, cops, dope dealers etc… Life is full of fun. Sometimes you have to make those sacrifices to get what you are seeking. So do the clients. I say they are paying for love. Many say they are paying for a quickie. Not just that, many are just like me and you. They are lonely, divorced, and shy, single, Horney, low self esteem or just in love with you or your picture on the website.

Escorts are hustlers. So are the clients. It’s a game called who is going to beat who. Escorts do what they have to do to get the clients money, and the clients do what they have to do to get what they want. Nothing different, just wanting different things. Most clients know that many of the escorts need some kind of help. I don’t care if it is mentally, physically, financially, etc. That’s why they call the escorts. They see them as easy prey.

Some clients like action that they are not getting at home. Like fetishes, spanking, golden showers, golden nuggets, humiliation, just to name a few. So do many of the escorts. They don’t have to go far, or search around to find what they are looking for. There is plenty of everything at most escort services. Clients are your bread and butter. Without them, escort services would not be in business right now. So take care of them and I’m sure they will take care of you. Clients will do almost anything to get what they want, and they don’t mind spending their money for it, even though most of the time they just want sex. Many clients go to the strip clubs and get all aroused and eventually come home and call their favourite escort service. Even though I say many escorts have mental problems, many clients do as well. Yes, you do have your stalkers, rapist, etc., and they target the adult industry. I try to take care of all my spending clients, but it’s hard to do that all the time. Once a client sees that you will really work with them, they will always come back and spend more. So take care of them. They are helping you become successful in your business.

Dress code

If a client is spending big bucks to see an attractive escort, don’t you think myself as a business owner, should make sure my escorts dress to impress? You would be surprised at how many girls rather walk out looking like trash than to dress up for their call. I’ve always said that the better you dress, the better you can close a deal. Think about the escort going out asking for a tip, looking like trash. And, think about an escort going out dressed to impress and getting paid because of the first impression they give. I only say high heels, skirts, dresses, and if they have the body, jeans would be fine as well. Here at my business, I invest in my escorts. They have everything they need for any call. Keep in mind we do it all; bachelor parties, birthday parties, anniversaries, private one on one shows, etc., you name it, we do it. My slogan is, if you look like trash, you are going to get paid like trash. If a client want an escort to downgrade themselves in clothing, that’s fine. And if you see one of your counterparts looking like trash, let them know. If you noticed it, trust me the client will as well. We get so many turnarounds per year because the client complained about the way the escort was dressed.

Boyfriends, girlfriends, significant others & Undercover Pimps

This is one main rule you have to abide by. Whether or not you know your escort’s mate, you will never know who is sizing up your house or your business. You never want escorts or potential escorts to bring their significant other to your home or place of business. Why jeopardize your life style? Most mates try to dictate what their significant others do when at work. Most of the time it’s because of jealously, or fear that a male escort service owner has more to offer, or more control of the escort than they do. These are what I call Undercover Pimps. They don’t care what she does, as long as she brings home the money. And if you end up taking the escort from him, you have trouble on your hands. It is very sad to see escorts make all that money, just to go back and give it to their Undercover Pimp. Trust me, they do it. Believe it or not, I’ve even had female undercover pimps. Escorts are sometimes working for others that don’t have a job. While she is out there ripping and running the streets just to make ends meet, they are sitting at home on their butts.

Running an escort service is not as easy as you think

In this line of work, it is very hard to have to deal with escorts and their many problems. I have a sick child to tend to everyday that has sickle cell. I’m also a single parent. So just imagine what I have to deal with everyday. In addition to this, I have to always pay attention to the business. Dealing with liars, thieves, lack of sleep, always being tired and not taking care of myself, are big stress factors. In spite of all this, it is rewarding for me to help others, if they are trying to help themselves. I’ve even helped some that needed food, shelter, transportation, or a shoulder to cry on. I don’t ask for anything in return because I refuse to take advantage of someone in need. I do get help in return though. Some of my escorts even look out for my sixteen year old son when I am away, to show their appreciation.

Running this type of business requires time and guts. Yes, it really does. You have to deal with escorts, pimps, family members, bills, threats, just to name a few. You will have to play mind games with your escorts to weed out the weak ones. Most if not all think that you are dumb anyways, but keep in mind, they are the ones out there selling their body’s for money. Escorts think that this is an easy job for the owner. They think we just sit around on our butts while they are doing all the work. Not true at all. The more escorts, the more hassles. You have to deal with their attitudes. Most think that if you are the same race as they are,
