About this ebook

So Others Will Know -"You Are Never Alone" - This book is intended to inform the public that Quality Care has gone out of the window - and we need to get back to caring about the person as a whole - whether they are a maid or a queen. God is not pleased with the kind of care or lack of it that is given to our loved ones in some of these care centers.

It is also designed to let others know that someone else has gone through what you have and you are never alone. God is working behind the scenes always. And he has a ram in the bush who is constantly acting on your behalf.

Read and be blessed.

Verneita Joyce Washington is a very sensitive, concerned, and caring family member - who believes in sharing love, joy and happiness with others. Her dilemma is, when someone hurts, she hurts. She can't see someone suffer and not feel the pain or hurt. Verneita is not sure why God gaveher this sensitive characteristic, butshe does know that if God is in it, it is alright with her. There is nothing more satisfying to this author than to know that God is in the plan set for his people, and allshe wants to do is please God and help those in need. Be continuously blessed. V.J. SO OTHERS WILL KNOW

    YOU ARE NEVER ALONE

    by V.J. Washington

Sometimes in one’s life there are families who are very close: sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers. In my family, I was one of fifteen (15) siblings born to Ruby Lee and Milton Falco (both deceased).

In such a large family, we had to have an older sibling take care of a younger one. Mama was the only one around to raise us all. My surrogate mother was Jean.

Jean was a vibrant, wonderful, loving sister who would do anything for me or any of her family members.

Jean had no children, but all of the neighborhood children were like hers. The children respected her and called her mama.

Jean would take them in, feed them, clean them up, comb their hair and send them back to their real "mamas.

When I was a teenager growing up, I had a younger sister who I will call Marie. Marie was a spoiled brat who would not take no for an answer. She wanted what she wanted. Marie was always getting into trouble with our neighborhood friends. Guess who would have to come to her aid.

Jean would warn me, you’d better not come in this house if you let them beat you up. Well, I
