I love the title of Chun Bulus Chun’s newest book The Arrogant Claim.

With intelligence and passion, he examines the real role of the church in relation to the world, boldly claiming it is the answer to the world’s problems.

Can we really bring the Kingdom of God here on earth as it in heaven?

Are Christians the answer to the world’s problems? Do we really have that authority? This book gives us biblical foundation and answers to these questions.

The church was never made to stay within it’s own four walls. Yes, it is called to the pastoral, taking care of the sheep. But this includes discipleship that will lead communities and individuals to take the radical love and good news of life in Jesus into every sphere of society. This is not just for super-heroes of the faith, but for each one of us who are in the family of Christ. We are called to be more than conquerors by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit in us.

We are meant to be ambassadors bringing solutions and change into the world and society around us. If we are truly children of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, then we are royalty and as such carry authority to act and to change.
