Project - Emotions

About this ebook
Like a flowing river, which cannot be tamed,
Emotions can drive us crazy, they cannot be maimed.
Emotions are depicted in everyday speech, a persons state of mind, his behavior and temperament. They are intertwined in such a way that often science fails to give a proper definition to it. Emotions are such a powerful tool that they can make you cry when you are happy and make you laugh when you feel sad.
Project : Emotions sheds light on eight different but very common emotions (Love, Hate, Attraction, Aversion, Hope, Fear, Joy and Grief)

Defining Love
How can I forget those hazel eyes,
That image is embedded in my heart.
How can I forget that sparkling smile,
That pierces my soul like a dart.
Is it true that love is truly blind,
Or is it something that lacks clarity,
Love is something that sure takes my breath away,
It is like an illusion, nothing close to reality.
Love is like a sweet numbness,
It is a blend of sorrows and happiness,
It gives us pain, it gives us joy,
It can also be compared to madness.
Falling in love is like entering paradise,
It feels like the whole world is at your feet,
All you need is the one you love,
Achieving that would be the world’s greatest feat.
The Language Of Love
I always wondered how love speaks,
Is it through her smile that brightens my day,
Or maybe it’s her kohl that takes my breath away.
Maybe love speaks through her bright golden hair,
Like the morning sun, tarnished like rust,
Even the Gods are jealous, even they feel it is unjust.
I wonder if love speaks through her moments of grace,
Moments that have touched my loveless soul,
That feeling is something I just can’t control.
I guess love speaks through the emotions that now control my heart,
Reborn I am, like a butterfly spreading its wings,
With her by my side, it feels like the first day of spring.
I think I finally know how love truly speaks,
It speaks in strange words, that I can very much concur,
Often in silence, love speaks to me through her.
As I Drift In The Moonlight
As I think about the day gone by,
I just lie awake and stare at the skies.
All I can think about is just one thing,
The light coming from the door that caught my eye.
Hapless I was, as I drift in the moonlight,
As I heard those hypnotic tunes, I felt divine.
As my heart skipped a beat,
I just knew, this is what truly means being fine
.
That melody is stuck in my heart,
It has the power to make every saddened face smile.
The demons from my past have disappeared it seems,
That song made me strong, I no longer feel hostile.
If I could make a wish, I would wish to hear that song again,
The song that she sang with all her heart.
I would wish to see her gliding fingers on the piano once again,
And play that tune again, which was no less that art
.
Defining An Angel
Those eyes,
There they go again, playing hide and seek.
They pierce right through my heart,
Straight to my soul, her magic imparts.
That grace,
Like the sight of a white swan in a lake.
As she walked in, dressed in her satin gown,
She looked beautiful, like a queen with a crown.
That charm,
Enough to mesmerize a whole town.
Waking me up from my eternal dream,
A delightful sight, which was previously unseen.
Her heart,
Giving and caring, filled with love.
It is pure and clean,
She truly defines what an angel really means.
