Description
Empty
Suddenly it’s all gone quiet,
If emptiness had a sound,
It’d feel like a riot.
My hearts stopped beating,
My hands have turned blue,
No kiss on my lips,
The love drained through.
As I rest my head,
The only comfort I get,
Is one of feathers encased in lead,
As I lay in my poison bed.
I stay calm and collected,
But I want to feel more,
Where’s my satin sheets,
The ones that I asked for.
I’m demanding too much,
But theirs no one to hear my call,
So I lay there,
Waiting,
Begging,
Give me more.
Suddenly it’s all gone quiet,
If emptiness had a sound,
It’d feel like a riot.
My hearts stopped beating,
My hands have turned blue,
No kiss on my lips,
The love drained through.
As I rest my head,
The only comfort I get,
Is one of feathers encased in lead,
As I lay in my poison bed.
I stay calm and collected,
But I want to feel more,
Where’s my satin sheets,
The ones that I asked for.
I’m demanding too much,
But theirs no one to hear my call,
So I lay there,
Waiting,
Begging,
Give me more.
