T he following pages will challenge you to do away with desperation.
However, in this Foreword I would like to challenge you to use desperation and brokenness to your advantage. My goal is to encourage you to use the pain experienced from being desperate as a springboard into your next dimen sion.
Most of us never seek the Lord until we are forced to. We can easily coast through life and put our spiritual minds in neutral until a crisis comes. Then we turn to God and cry out for help, mercy, intervention, or deliverance. Rather than constantly seeking the Lord, we tend to take Him for granted.
All too often, believers would like to live in the Promised Land without having to face Jericho and the enemies of God. The milk and honey would be
