About this ebook
Vicki Senz
Vicki gained the ability to rhyme words after an incident, and preferring the quiet of the night and the beauty of the night with a million stars above you, that is how the title of the book is drawn from, writing under the stars. Living with her best friend, her dog BJ. Wishing that she could see her grandchildren and family more often as they are spread out over Australia. Having a night job is great as it means she doesn’t have to get up early in the morning. Don’t you dare wake her up before her sleep is done. Coffee, white, and two sugars, please, once she is awake. You wouldn’t believe half the difficulties she has been through and that she is still here, which is damn amazing. North of Brisbane is quite beautiful to live in, perfect for her quiet reflections and writing poetry. Give her sentence or lyric from a song and she can, with time, turn it into a poem. Hoping you will enjoy and find encouragement from even one line and it helps you see the miracles that are around you every day.

About You
What is it about you?
You seem so confident
Looking the way that you do
Your attitude never gets a dent
Watching you move through life
Making it look so easy
Nothing gives you too much strife
Can you tell me your secret please
I know you have been through some pain
You shake off that hurtful part
Hanging onto it would be no gain
Telling me it’s all the past
Even so no one will get close to you
Trust is something you don’t know
One day someone will be true
All I wish is it was now
Accused
Why am I accused of many things?
It makes me cry and think
That maybe I am so mean
Can’t help the way I am seen
Trying to be that person who is nice
Soon turning into ice
Using people I get a lot
Being nasty is something I am not
My feelings don’t seem to count
The accusations begin to mount
Been told that it shouldn’t matter
You are nothing so see you later
What if I told you none of it is true
No one really cares about you
They don’t want hear a word
They live in their own little world
All they know is what’s in their head
Listening to you would be
