    FOREWORD

The Empowerment of God and wealth transfer during recession is a sensitive book, when read, it will enhance one’s ability to fully depend on God for everything in life with unimaginable results.

This book came about when God Almighty revealed to me during my sleep in the month of June,2010.Prior this period, I was evangelising full time in the cities in United Kingdom. I needed an income from the jobs I applied for as an Engineer to support my family, though I was very careful, because I needed a job that will not affect God’s work. I prayed all the time with my family and fellowship members, and we started attending Holy Ghost Services/ Festival of Life services where Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God preaches worldwide

One of the night of Holy Ghost services in the UK, I had a revelation, I saw myself commissioning oil rigs and various midstream, downstream and upstream project, and this is tantamount to what I studied in the University, ‘Petroleum Engineering’, so I studied the Bible and extracted where God blessed the patriarchs, like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, the Bible says in Deuteronomy 8:18 New International Version; But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

From the revelation I had and what I read from the Bible, I now believe that God has given those close to Him the ability to make wealth, since I got connected with God’s empowerment, took a bold step, I started working as an employer in the oil and gas industry with results and also as a volunteer missionary to the Glory of God.

That is why this book came into existence, I also prayed for the title, which also came forth, using what happened thousands years ago as written in the Bible and God’s intervention and empowerment, as comprehensively narrated in this book and to also encourage all readers that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrew 13:8

Whatever He say He will do, He will do it. All we have to do is believe in Him, have faith in Him, and He will do it. Amen

God Almighty will continue to bless you, empower you as you read and enjoy this book.Amen

    INTRODUCTION

The Empowerment of God and Wealth transfer During Recession is a book that reveals the covenant, provisions, promises of God, and guidance on how to embrace GOD’s provision during recession.

This book narrates more about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph who were divinely empowered and blessed by God with wealth.

The release of wealth has always been God’s will for His children; according to the Bible, Psalm 35:27. God delights in the prosperity of His servant. Psalm 149:4 For the LORD takes delight in his people; Psalm 24:1 the earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Abundance has always been God’s will for his children, to those who are willing and obedient, they shall eat the fruits of the land; Isaiah 1:19.

For I know the plans I have for you, (Jeremiah 29:11) declares the LORD: "plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future.

Wealth is a blessing from God because God wants us to live happily on earth and he is always there to supply our needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Hence Philippians 4:19 states, ‘But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. And 4:20 confesses: ‘Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen’.

    THE EARTH IS THE LORD

The biblical creation story is very relevant in the history of Man through the eyes of western civilisation. The scientific approach to this parallel attempts to explain the principles of evolution and Charles Darwin’s theory remains contentious to the belief systems of the world which account for 4/5th of the world’s population.

Given the dominance of the belief systems, the role of Christianity and its accompanying education culture gives a bias if not disposition to the acknowledgement of a belief in one Almighty being, God. Most of those who acknowledge this find it easy to accept the narrative of the biblical creation story. This story admits that the earth and all that is in it were created by God from a formless, void situation into the reality of Man’s history and existence.

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. (Psalm 50:10) For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. (Haggai 2:8) "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

God the Father through the Son created the world out of nothing. The great mystery of creation is how something can come from nothing. Yet Paul writes in Romans 4:17 that God calls into being things that are not as though they were. God commanded and they were created, the psalmist says (Psalm 148:5). God addresses his command to nothingness, and even nothingness obeys His voice and becomes something (cf. Hebrews 11:3). If you ever start to doubt the word of God think on this: God can issue a command that is so powerful that if nothing is there to obey, the word itself brings forth its own obedience into creation out of nothing.

God owns all things absolutely. We may think of ourselves as owners only in temporary possession relative to other people. And there is a prescribed principle of transfer of ownership which is acceptable for exchange. We are stewards or trustees of God’s estate, and with regard to ourselves we are children of the Almighty God.

Not only does God own our possessions, He also owns us absolutely much in the same way a deity’s authority over its offspring gives it an all-embracing care and responsibility. We are the clay and He is the potter and He may do with us exactly as He pleases (Psalm 29:16; 45:9). Will what is moulded say to its moulder, ‘Why have you made me thus?’ Has the potter no right over the clay? (Romans 9:20–21). The answer is: Yes, the potter has absolute right over the clay. Only that the clay, which was lifeless, is given life at the pleasure of the potter and moulded into some form to suit a function or functions. To this extent is a man intended by God (potter) to the reality of his existence. Take your spiritual temperature here. If this is sweet to you and you readily submit to God’s ownership, it is the mark of grace and maturity in your life.

1 Corinthians 10:26 for, The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. These words, found in Psalm 24:1, are also quoted by Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:26, 28. The earth is the Lord’s, yet He hath given the earth to the children of men (Psalm 115: 16). Because of this, mankind should enjoy its fullness.

Material blessings and Spiritual blessings are part of the promises and covenant of God. As the covenant is accepted throughout the earth, the covenant blessing will extend to all people who come to him. This time of blessing, is spoken of in Psalm 67:7 The earth hath yielded her increase; may God, our own God, bless us.:8 May God bless us; and let all the ends of the earth fear Him.

God’s will is to bless the people of the whole earth and the earth will yield a tremendous harvest of prosperity. God created you to be blessed and be a blessing on earth. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the same thing.

The scriptures’ promises of prosperity and material blessings are rewards of obedience to God (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) and doing His ‘will’. The nation which obeys the Lord will be blessed materially. When the whole world obeys him, universal prosperity will be their inevitable result.

Then the land will yield its harvest, our God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will revere him.

‘They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not toil in vain, for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants after them’. Isaiah 65:21-23.

The promise of God’s blessing on the earth is that each person’s ‘labour’ will be prolific, and each one will enjoy the fruits of their labour which mirrors the glory God in the lives of the obedient. Psalm 72: 16. There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth. 17. His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

God’s blessings come to us in the natural realm and in the spiritual realm. Our human nature wants the natural blessings, like an easy comfortable life, friends, health and financial prosperity. We may even become very adept
