Author

Bo Dunne

Once you have read this book, you will know the author much better than you could know him from the few words I will give you now. He was bright, perceptive, creative, and he chose early in life the instrument of the guitar to express himself with. Soon he became a song writer whose strongest influences were the Beatles and James Taylor. Due to a tragic accident he lost his ability to play the guitar in the manner he was accustomed to. Years later he found satisfaction in writing books. He was happy to find a means of expression that equaled that of writing songs.

    About The Author

    CHAPTER ONE

I want you to hear my story. How much difference it will make in your life is yet to be seen. To be totally honest about it, I feel I have to say that it may make no difference at all in your life. This, I have chosen to live with. I will proceed as if what I have to say is of utmost importance and will perhaps even change your life. I do not want to tell a typical type of story of my life, such as I was born in such and such a town, in 19-such and such, and my parents were such and such. I want you to come to know me in a different way.

One of my earliest memories regards when I was very young, too young to know how old I was, I would lie in bed with my eyes closed, keeping still, pretending to be asleep. I would listen to my mother and father talking. Sooner or later I would catch something good – like hearing them talk about me or my brother or sister, or parenting things that a little guy like me ought not to know about. I guess you might say that, rather than beginning in kindergarten, my education began at a very young age.

There is a photograph, a prized one, of me, my brother and sister, sitting beside each other. My brother is on the far left, about seven years old, I am in the middle, about three, and my sister is on the right, about five. My brother looks very adult, with a suit jacket
