    As a believer and an educator for many years, I feel that I have been given the extraordinary opportunity to experience the triumphs and disappointments of life, with the full assurance of the boundlessness of God’s care. Through each experience, that special place of refuge, peace and power has been provided. And although I am not always aware of it or understand it, that singular place has been the marvelous and abundant grace of God. Even through traumatic and life-shattering events such as the death of my mother and my beautiful, little daughter, the boundless grace of God has always enclosed me. More importantly, the grace and the mercies of God have brought me through with an overpowering sense of thankfulness to the God of grace.
