About this ebook

In a feeble attempt to deceive mankind, Stephen W. Hawking and Richard Dawkins, among others of their ilk, have painstakingly persevered in creating a Godless society, in the hope intelligent people will accept the theory of evolution as the source that caused the universe to exist. Bringing forward arguments, they create a multitude of problems they cannot answer, resulting in guesses and lies. Not knowing where we came from and why we are here, scientists will never cease their search for the Truth. I have written this book in refutation of their claims and expounded on the subject for clarification.

    Endnotes

Indeed all Praise is due to Allaah. We praise Him and we seek His help and His Forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of ourselves and the evil of our actions. Whomsoever Allaah guides no one can misguide him and whomsoever He misguides no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity, (false god, animate and inanimate) that is worthy of worship except Allaah alone and that He has no partners and I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (sollallaahu ‘alayhiy wa sallam)¹ is His slave and final Messenger.

O ye who believe! Fear Allaah as He should be feared and die not except in a state of Islam.

(The Family of ‘Imraan, Chapter 3 verse 102).

O mankind! Fear your Guardian Lord, who created you from a single person, created out of it, his mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women. Fear Allaah, through Whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and be heedful of the wombs (that bore you): for Allaah ever watches over you.

(The Women, Chapter 4 verse 1).

O ye who believe! Fear Allaah and make your utterance straightforward: That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: he that obeys Allaah and His Messenger has already attained the great victory.

    (The Confederates, Chapter 33 verses 70, 71).

Verily the best Book is the Book of Allaah, the best guidance is the guidance of prophet Muhammad (sollallaahu ‘alayhiy wa sallam) the worst matters (in creed of worship) are those innovated (by people), for every newly invented matter (in religion) is an innovation, every innovation is misguidance and every misguided matter leads to the fire.

    To proceed:

    Introduction

My son came home from school one day with some homework. He was asked to write about what Islam says about God and to describe how Allaah is different to other gods. He wasn’t specific about how many words or pages he was expected to write, just to outline the differences only. He asked me to help him and I refused. I did not refuse because I wasn’t interested in his education. I refused because I didn’t want his teachers giving him good marks for work he did not do so I told him to do the best he can and to at least try then I’ll check it. Two days passed and he hadn’t even started. I spoke to him and he said that he’ll get to it. Now I understand, whether Muslim or non Muslim, living in a western society, children become influenced with preoccupying their time in doing things they’d rather do and be places they’d rather be than be interested with homework about religion. That’s natural. However, the third day, he still hadn’t written anything, rather asked me questions and I answered them. The fourth day had come and he hadn’t done a thing. I then decided to start him off. As I didn’t know how much he had to write, I improvised and wrote two sides of A4 and asked him if that was enough. He asked me to write a bit more, which I did. The forthcoming days, I casually started writing a little more and before I knew it, I had written four whole sides of A4 pages without really trying. When I had a little spare time on my hands, I’d write more and before I knew it I had written ten pages, knowing, for that kind of homework, was too much but still continued writing. Now I know that’s nothing compared to how many pages a writer can write in four days or ten days but working on it every now and then became a full time assignment I enjoyed and the end result is this book you are now reading.

By this time I hadn’t really considered I was helping my son with his homework, rather, I treated it like a thesis I was preparing for a publishing company and I just got into the flow and 32 pages had been written quicker than I anticipated. It dawned on me: Why not turn it into a book, I said to myself. I’ve always wanted to write a book on this subject but I never thought this would have been the best opportunity to start me off. I then decided to make it my intention to go all the way and author this work but didn’t know what to call it. I didn’t want the usual or typically predictable title that many authors have used because I didn’t just want to write about Islam and that’s it. I wanted to encompass everything connected to our existence, every theory brought forward and every doubt hovering so I decided to go the whole nine yards and call it: The Palpable Universe, Divine Existence or Self Subsistence? from the view point of the two most controversial subjects, viz, science and religion. The universe and all that exists within it is not a separate entity, contrary to scientific claims and I will elucidate further on this matter. This maybe the first and last book I ever write, I don’t know. If it is, I am thankful that God has permitted me to complete it by His Permission and pray it will be a benefit to me the day I am resurrected and one of the reasons God will reward me for what my soul desires. If God has written for me to author another book, only time will tell when and even though I have one in mind, whether or not I decide to write it depends on a number of factors in life that could otherwise prevent me from doing so.

    A Natural Seed Inbred

We’ve all pondered, at some point or another in our lives, at the universe. We’ve asked questions about its existence, spoken to one another about it, asked other people if they have any theories and what they believe, contemplated over it, some believing we’ll never know where it came from, who or what is responsible for it, heard differences of opinions and theories, confined ourselves privately, sat and reflected upon it, quarrelled among one another, fought and even killed innocent people because of it instead of debating civilly and sincerely, sitting down and listening to the evidence the other person brings forward. We’ve stared into deep space, into the beautiful distance of the flawless Heavens in adoration of its endless planets, watched the most dangerous animals alive from close up and swam the deepest of the oceans with the deadliest of cold blooded killers. We’ve gazed into the furthest of horizons and as far as our sight and perception can take our limits in becoming taken aback at this bountiful reality. We’ve seen microscopic and macroscopic life we never comprehended existed. We’ve travelled the world by land, sea and air and seen places we never believed could be so beautiful and become dumbfounded at the magnificence before our disbelieving eyes and experienced things so uncanny, seen and heard what we cannot describe or even have an answer to. We remain spellbound, as if possessed by some mysterious force knowing there are things in this universe that mankind has yet still to discover that will unendingly keep us mystified and everlastingly take our breath away. The wonderment of our fascination of this world leads us to ask a number of questions in trying to understand where this universe came from, why it’s here and the reason for mortality. The natural thought is always celestial. Is it the striking manifestation of a Divine Source? Is there a Divine Being whose incomprehensible existence made all this happen? Is it a non divine source that made it happen? If so, who or what? Whoever or whatever is responsible, the evidence to prove its Sole Perfection will be clear.

We love this world so much and the thought of letting go of it frightens us to the very core of our bones. The rush we experience in our bodies at this vast and endless universe immediately leads us to ask a number of inevitable questions that opens our eyes to the reality of our very being that some believe we exist because we’ve convinced ourselves we exist. This is the kind of philosophical speech that is uttered by groups and individuals who do not have the mental ability to go beyond recognising their own foolishness to understand how stupid it is to believe that we don’t exist, when we are clearly here. The flagrance of our wakening and conscious mind is a reality that only the insane can claim contrary to its absoluteness. The fact we enjoy life so much, with not a miniscule of comprehension of its purpose and desire never to die can and will affect those affected by the delusion of immortality. Philosophical speech and beliefs are many and absurd and the explanation behind them is more absurd. Instead of simplifying the explanation the rhetoric they utter just continues making no sense at all.

We’ve read books, asked scholarly figures and watched documentaries in trying to understand if there’s a purpose to it and if we are here for a reason. No one has ever lived their life and not taken any notice of this perpetual cosmos and the surroundings of the world and not questioned the Source of its existence. Even the most evil among mankind are not free from questioning their existence and wanting to know where we came from. Its beauty takes away the breath of religious and non religious masses. The awesomeness and spellbinding effect of its perfect presence has led millions to awake and millions remain asleep. We’ve questioned our lives, everything and everyone inhabiting it, become rapt at what we see, looked around, below and above us and by default, only one conclusion is naturally drawn, no matter how much we think we’ve convinced ourselves contrary to the matter. No sane and rational human being has ever concluded we exist from nothing or a non entity. Every individual has a mind and every mind has a purpose. A deep and inner feeling rushes through the very core of our inner consciousness that involuntarily leads us to deduce that someone, a Superlatively and Incomprehensibly Perfect Being, somewhere, beyond the coalescence of humanity’s intelligence and knowledge to perceive exists for all this to be here and even though we are incapable, as finite beings of grasping the magnitude of our thoughts at such a Creator, we know, miraculously the elimination of such a possibility is absolutely impossible.

By believing no such Being can exist we push our perceptible limits to an area of knowledge impenetrable to the human mind because a Supreme Source is Responsible and if the Source is not Divine should we believe it is non divine that caused everything existent in it? This way of thinking goes beyond the realms of irrationality and creates more harm to our realisation, causes puzzlement and misguidance. We question our purpose because it’s a question that’s simply impossible to escape or overlook. We try to make sense of our function in this world and live among many dogmas that have given the impression religion is evil, stereotyping it and believing it is a malevolent and immoral practice, actioned by evil men who claim they are strictly adhering to a prophet who ordered or commanded bloodshed, for material gain who suffered hallucinations and I will come to the source of that later on. It makes matters worse when men of God deceptively preach for ulterior motives. Thankfully though some of us are intelligent enough to understand the difference between the purpose of a knife and the one who uses it for a purpose other than its intended design and these sincere people cannot rest until, at the very least a plausible answer is provided and most of us… just simply don’t care.

Over and over again, millennium after millennium the same questions are continually asked, especially by some of the greatest minds that have trodden this planet: Where did the universe come from? Why is it here? Where did we come from? Why are we here? What is the purpose of our existence? Does God exist? Does the devil exist? Does hell exist? Do angels exist? Does heaven exist? Is there life after death? Question after question! Thought after thought! Idea after idea! Theory after theory and scientists haven’t provided the answer and so long as they attempt to solve what we seek by guessing, scientifically, atheistically and philosophically the answer will never be solved because science is not an answer provider it’s an answer confirmer. By that I mean science is not divine or godly. Western scientists’ knowledge isn’t provided from a scientific scripture or divine source. To actualise what science is bringing to the table, only one Scripture among us can verify if it’s fact or canard. No prophets or messengers conveyed scientific acceptance of atheism. Science itself, as some scientists have confirmed cannot disprove the existence of God, as we’ll see later on. It is simply a valuable and useful subject that God provided for mankind to recognise, through His Creation and the sound intelligence He created us with that He exists and the clear signs He left for us to recognise Him as our Creator and that this was no accident or came into existence from nothing. Once His Existence has been acknowledged, we ask what He wants from us, why He Created us and recognise He has set a Divine Law justly and morally stipulating how we must live our lives in order to attain peace and contentment in our lives.

It is inevitable these questions will never cease being asked but why do we feel the need to ask them and why do we want to know if we don’t care? Why can we not ignore them if we didn’t have the slight inkling of the possibility that a Greater and Superior Source must exist and our curiosity of life after death does exist, for example? There must be a reason, though some have convinced themselves these questions will never be answered or rather should I say, as others believe, we’ll never know. There’s an answer to every question, though some questions, due to either the nature of their complexity or nonsensicalness the answer cannot be understood mentally and proven visually. Any question beyond the mind’s limitation to fathom will simply shut down. Hence, we have to know where and when to draw the line in stopping at the point we cannot go beyond. How do we do this? Cognisance! Without this method of contemplation the search for the Truth will become impossible to seek because the mind will always be ahead of itself, questioning every question thus creating an infinitely regressive argument that solves absolutely nothing except malfunction the brain and kill its cells from understanding anything at all.

Whether one is atheist or agnostic these questions automatically come to mind. They are natural questions everyone, at some point in their lives will think about. Anything or moment can trigger off these thoughts. It could be a personal incident you have encountered in your life, trying to understand what happened, how and why the way it ended, questioning misfortunes in life and the bad things that happen to good people etc. It could be that you won a substantial amount of money and just couldn’t believe your luck and this fortune made you believe someone up there must care. You could be alone in your bedroom at night freely staring into space gazing at the night’s celestial jewels, the beauty of stars twinkling like diamonds and the peaceful moon, unruffled like a floating pearl you cannot help but become almost breathless at the beauty of these two heavenly treasures. You could be walking alone at night and hear the trepid sounds of thunder and lightning, torrential rains and their rage, striking at the hearts of mankind, enough to instil fear in one’s heart yet we cannot help being awestruck and mesmerised by the resonance of these powerful forces emitting the flawless heavens, curiously arousing our perception into feeling a Powerful Force exists. You could be on safari or watching a documentary on the wildlife of the African kings of the jungle, poised beautifully and majestically as the grace of their presence weakens you at the knees. Their hunting skills and communication among one another and the fright of their mighty roars sends a bone chilling tremor down your spine and again we cannot help but praise the Source that gave life to these mighty carnivores.

You could be on a boat, with no hope of survival from the screaming winds that whistle through the ocean’s fury followed by the storm’s rage, crying out to someone or admiring the waves coming inland, the sounds of the soft whistling winds and listening to the calm sea, as the cool gentle breeze brushes past your face, amid an aquatic world of unique species of life that lurk beneath with hundreds of thousands of genus, from microscopic marine organisms to the largest and heaviest animal on planet earth, the blue whale and it will create a rush of euphoria that will fill your heart with ecstasy and joy at the miracle of these creatures that marine biologists have fallen in love with.

You could be walking down a meadow on a beautiful sunny day, overshadowed by the presence of mighty and almost eerie looking trees listening to the birds chirping and the sounds of crickets between the grasslands as calm gusts of winds pass you by amid flowers swaying en masse and you cannot help but have your breath taken away at this astounding creation. You could be an expeditionist, one who travels the far corners of the earth to hypnotically stare at the breath taking mountains and heart pounding volcanoes with gaping eyes that fills your soul with awe and you will, by default, feel the need to Praise the Source responsible for this spectacular display of erupting fire. The diversification of life is a miracle, one that should immediately cause us to reflect at the reality of our presence here on earth is temporary for another one. Most definitely, as life exists here, in this world there’s a hereafter. We are simply wayfarers passing by this transient universe to reach our final destination. No truly sincere individual can possibly believe all this came from nothing. No one who is genuinely conscious of his very being, one who sleeps through darkness and awakes in light, can in his right frame of mind say we exist because no one and nothing created us.

Is the universe a mirage? Is it an illusion or is it real? If so is it the work of animateness or inanimateness? How are we supposed to know the answers to these almost impossible questions when many theories have been postulated and incorrectly warranted, but are they acceptable to give us closure? Whether we intend on doing anything about it or not comes down to the individual’s understanding of his/her life. Does anybody really know how the universe was created? Is its existence an enigma? Can it be solved? Can anyone unquestionably prove where it came from? If so, where’s the proof! Is it logical or illogical to predicate it to an Incomparable Being? Is the grandeur of its presence awe inspiring and breathtaking? I think we are all astounded at its outstanding beauty but beautification requires a beautifier in exactly the same way something created requires a creator. Was this magnificent world perfectly designed for a specific reason or no reason at all? Is it here for play and amusement? Do we have the sound intelligence to rationalise, sensibly that its existence is the genuine and obvious work of a Creator of some kind or is it self subsistent?

Do you not, as a human being feel from deep within the core of your very existence, your heart and soul and the mind you think with that somewhere out there, beyond the universe and further than we could ever mentally conceive is a Superior Being a Supreme Source an Almighty and Powerful One, an Authority, a Divine Creator who is responsible for it or do you seriously think that all this cosmological and synchronising perfection was the work of an explosion or randomly selected by evolution! Taking into consideration how old the universe is, honestly, can we really say that as we have approached the beginning of the 21st century with the most expensive and most powerful paraphernalian means scientists use on a daily basis and some of the greatest minds that have trodden on the planet that man hasn’t got a clue or so much as made some kind of breakthrough to fit the pieces together! Are we to believe that 15 billion years, though some claim it is far, far less, of existence is not enough time to solve it! For how much longer will scientists say things like: We’re making breakthroughs, we’ve discovered this and that or we’ll never know for sure? when the answer has been placed in the palms of their hands as a gift. Just a glance or quick scan at the universe for no more than 10 seconds, should be, for most intelligent people more than enough time to immediately deduce, logically, its visibility is the creation of a Supernatural Being an Unequalled Maker who is Consummately Unrivalled and to be able to cause all this to exist must be Living, not inexistent.

So long as people see science and religion as two conflicting subjects the search for this truth will remain virtually impossible to seek if an open mindedness to impartiality remains nonexistent. If science claims to have the answers the onus is upon its preachers to produce the evidence for what they’re claiming and the same goes for religion too. If one is offering a fact and the other a theory, no doubt you take the fact but if one believes a theory is actually a fact, as some do and a fact is a theory then this person must be educated and made to understand the difference between night and day. No doubt there will be disagreement but disagreement is easily solvable. If you cannot intellectually debate then you are impermeable because your mind has paused at a point that you will not allow it to pass and this happens when the flaws in the principles of your system have been proven wrong and this can and does cause, in some people, great pride. A person will acknowledge, within himself the truth and know of a surety what he’s heard his heart naturally accepts but because his ego won’t accept defeat pure clarity becomes a problem to him and even tries finding faults in it thus affecting his emotions. Debates can be simply resolved but that can only happen if the discussion is balanced and unprejudiced and this all comes down to natural common sense and pure and simple logic, acumen and sound morality. If you don’t possess any of these qualities you are a closed book and the dust built up over the years will never come off if you don’t use the right brush to dust away the obscurity on the surface. Both subjects should be respected and it is beneficial to one’s own sense of understanding and peace of mind to have knowledge in both fields and to see if they are actually and fundamentally co existent or independent to one another.

Where we came from is a mystery to many and the root to this mysteriousness stems from many reasons. The main reason is lack of common sense, irrationality, insensibility and polluted knowledge being fed to the masses. Another reason is when someone has his own opinion of something, a solipsist who is unwilling to listen to an alternative presentation. Undoubtedly, countless concepts beyond our wildest imagination would probably leave us flabbergasted. Some answers would probably be sensible and others outrageous. However, guessing something haphazardly and without using the correct method of questioning the answer will never be revealed and minds will remain flustered. Questioning the existence of the universe from an irrational point of view and lacking the ability to ponder wisely over our presence, will of a surety create problems in understanding the truth. If the intelligent species known as the human race cannot think properly, rather cannot grasp the reality of the universe’s existence and question its trueness of existing by no other way except through a Creator then man’s intelligence, to have stooped to this level is a shame. I do not say this based on my own personal opinion or religious belief. I do not say it because I have been brainwashed or indoctrinated as a child to believe what my parents taught me. I do not say it because I follow the religion of my people, tribe or forefathers. I do not say it because I am bias. I do not say it because there’s no other answer. I do not say it because I want Tom, Dick or Harry, Paula, Karen or Louise to embrace and revert to the morals and system I abide by. I say it simply because the palpability of the universe itself and everything existent within it, by default, staring in your face, draws you to that conclusion and everybody in the world wants the answer. There is not a human being breathing that can deny this and will, to the very last breath take what their hearts were naturally created to feel, to their graves. Anyone who says this is not what he thinks knows he’s only lying to himself.

Throughout this thesis you will come across examples that may seem, to the one who doesn’t think sensibly as slightly bizarre, crazy, stupid, silly, possibly intriguing and interesting but every single one of them is asked because the ones who want you to deify science and put your sole and absolute trust in it will not ask them because they know deep questioning expands the brain, opens the mind, dilates the eyes, clears out the blockage between the ears, revives the heart and awakens those asleep and equals correct answers and by revealing them scientists become aghast by not being able to go beyond the boundaries of their ignorant limitation thus putting a question mark on their credibility and when this happens people put their ignorance on standby, switch user and do a full system scan to clean out all the affected areas in their brain that kept crashing or freezing. Once the scan is complete and no viruses have been detected their computer i.e. their intelligence works properly and smoothly and downloading information from a potentially dangerous website, i.e. absorbing knowledge from one track minded scientists usually teaches them a lesson, which they hoped wouldn’t happen. The truth then hits them like a tonne of bricks in the face and they are guided aright because they quarantined the bugs (theories) for examination for them to permanently delete.

Nevertheless, scientists who do not want to believe and accept the truth are at war with God and because they don’t have the foresight to realise this is the case, they’ll never see it. They claim they would accept it if it was true but as it’s not they will continue persevering until they find it. Well, how can that be? They ask a question and an answer is provided. The evidence, presenting the facts to them is irrefutable, which they confirm is totally flawless and prove from the non scientific source the light they have witnessed is beyond the realms of human knowledge. Being that the case how then is this not a subconscious war with the Divine? They are too busy philosophising about the facts presented to them and too busy concentrating on theories they say are stronger than facts. Yet somehow they are still convinced a fact is in fact a theory or it can be wrong and a theory is a fact.²

However, one only has to look at the facts. Do we not see that since the start of the twentieth century alone, every scientific fact, research and finding, whether through hard work and dedication, persevered sincerity and even if it was serendipitous that have been confirmed by the last testament, that whenever a verse is presented to them they reject it. So if this is not a battle man is trying to win, what exactly is it and what’s he after? The knowledge they possess has blinded them from the essence of their academia. This method of war is not necessarily physical, rather psychological and deceptive.

We exist so we obviously came from somewhere. Now I’m sure, well I hope we’re all unanimous on this? Where or who is that someone or somewhere? Can it be nowhere? Can it be no one? Can it be nothing or are we, as some claim, accidental existers? Can this be true? Is it the answer? I think not! If we are the product of an accident who or what collided or made the mistake or error in producing us and how did we, after an accident become physically and mentally sound and unscathed, when by right we should all be damaged, defaced and, or deformed?

Theists say God is the Creator and have all the perceptibly sound and rational arguments to prove it. Atheists have a problem with this because of their illogical inquisitiveness, questions like: If God exists where is He? Where’s the proof He exists. Why hasn’t He shown Himself? Why did He Create us? What does He want from us? Why has He made it difficult to comprehend Him? Why is He allowing innocent people to die at the hands of tyrants and dictators and why does He cause floods and earthquakes and tens of millions die as a result of His cruelty? This is a very common argument, not just from atheists but people who do believe in God but don’t understand these things. God’s existence will only be comprehended by untainted intelligence. His incomprehensibility won’t be grasped by those who don’t understand the concept of limitation. Whether He will reward and punish us also comes down to acknowledging His existence is true and His Attributes are real? We also need to understand if He’s left us here to do as we please and die and that’s it! I will answer these questions in the following pages of this chapter.

Is our presence purposeless or were we created to serve a Master for a pleasant reward in return for adhering to His Legislation? If He exists where do we look for the answer? What has He told us about Himself? Has He left clear signs of His Existence? How do we look for them? Where do we go? Who are the right people to speak to? What book or scripture do we read when so many religions exist claiming they have the answers to the questions we seek, each one claiming to have the truth? Who’s right and who’s wrong? Who’s lying and who’s deceiving us? They can’t all be right. One must be right and the rest have to be wrong. Why has God been mocked? Why can we be inclined to hate and reject His Existence, the religion He revealed and the people who convey it? Why do some religions preach the Oneness and worship of One God, at the same time tell you man can be God? This clear contradiction is also one reason people cannot fathom and disbelieve because of it. Why do others tell you that we are all gods in our own right and why do others categorically reject the idea of Divine Intervention as being the answer to our existence? Why can we not overlook these questions? Why do they bother us and play on our minds? All these questions will be dealt with comprehensively.

Why do we exist and why are we here? Were we put here to be slaves, to worship and obey the Source that gave us life and not receive anything for it in return? If God is our Master and created us to worship Him is there reward for it at the end? Is it all a hoax? A deception! A lie! If so, how and why! Does the life we live perish without another journey to its passing? If there is life in another dimension where is the proof that any of this is actually true? No one has died and come back to verify this claim so how can we truly know that the One we call God does exist and how can we truly accept that He created, for the righteous a place called Heaven and for the wretched a place called Hell, are real? If we look at it from an intellectual point of view, there is no denying that good and bad are the absolute opposite of each other. You cannot expect a loving, honest, just, well mannered, respectable and humble person to be labelled as someone who’s bad and vice versa. So how would you expect someone who lived his entire existence in life upon bad, i.e., corruption and evil to be rewarded heaven and the good person, Hell? If you cannot understand this you are clearly confused. Why do you think, no matter what crime a person committed in life and how bad he was the majority of Christians tell their children and grandchildren their deceased is looking down at them from Heaven? Because their understanding of God, who He is, His Attributes and Justice is all over the place!

Will there eventually come a point in time when the universe will cease to exist? Is there a day people call: The Day of Judgement? The eschatological aspect of life is probably the most disbelieved inevitable reality of all matters pertaining to the consciousness of mankind and whether or not it’s a reality or a fiction that is portrayed in the movies only. These questions are the most fascinating questions man will eternally ask and forever question the Source responsible for the existence of the universe and all that is present within it. No one and I mean no one can, has or will ignore these questions and anyone who says it’s nonsense is living in denial. If we didn’t have the slightest curiosity we might as well create a mental prison for ourselves, anticipating news of our release.

This world we live in is an enigmatic wonder that we cannot help but to be stupefied over and its endlessness is beyond the realms of human grasp that fills our minds with questions we cannot lay to rest. It contains beauties and temptations we desire never to leave and yearn to dwell this life forever, hoping, somehow never to die, knowing full well that death is inescapable.

    Reasons for Rejecting God

Some of the reasons people reject God doesn’t change what’s going to happen or what has happened so I will outline some of the feeble reasons why many refuse to believe God exists and see if their refusal and disbelief can change an inevitable event and if it’s made them any happier. So we will look into the many reasons why God has become the target of attack and why people look upon Him as a vindictive, unjust and unloving Being.

The obvious reason is death? Why! Because it took away from them what they thought would never come or earlier than expected. The psychological denial of their lives coming to an end and no longer being a part of the world that lured them like a trap to a spider’s lair, to live life to the full and doing as they please, the soul in which they inhabit within their bodies refuses to accept the reality of death’s truth. This refusal has nothing to do with fear of dying and that’s it. No! This refusal is precognitive because the one fearing his death doesn’t know what’s on the other side, what awaits him in his grave and whether or not he will be brought back to life, questioned and punished and this is an aura of fright that hovers over them on a daily basis because deep in the very centre of their hearts they know that wherever they came from they will return back to the Source that gave them life and the thought of meeting Him is simply too late for excuses. So much for atheism! Some believe that by being cremated and the body turning into ashes and scattered in the wind they are safe from punishment not realising the soul has already been taken.

The desperation in wanting to become immortal leads them further and further away from the truth and drowns them deeper into the abyss of their dark delusion. By accepting immortality as a probability they become conditioned that living forever is possible and the ability to grasp fact from fiction becomes unrecognisable. Together with this non acceptance comes with it confusion and when one is confused and finds difficulty in comprehending the difference between fact and fallacy naturally the mind becomes disassociated from the true reality of what that individual rejects as actually being true. It then creates a false belief to satisfy the individual’s comfort in rejecting the existence of a Supreme and Higher Power, for whatever reason that maybe, until he creates a personal belief for which he is incapable of providing the evidence for his wild and impulsive claim.

Some of the greatest scientists and philosophers have spent their entire lives in search of the universe’s Creator, whoever or whatever was responsible for it. Is it God, as millions claim or a freak accident of nature that many also purport, making this claim because it’s where the limitation of their intelligence ends? Everybody wants the answers to these questions. They are not left unreciprocated. There will always be signs and evidence to prove any argument put forward. It all comes down to the individual’s intelligence; correct understanding of common sense, pure and simple logic, rationalising probable claims and familiarising oneself with a reality and its truth and differentiating it from what is clearly false and that which is impossible to deny as true. Knowing the truth to something has with it one priceless and required condition. If this condition is not met the reality of this truth and the manifestation of its clarity will never become clear thus hard to accept and this condition is the seeker must be neutral and free of emotion. If he allows his emotions to precede his sincere intentions in wanting the truth and willingness to listen to an argument other than what he has conjured up in his own mind then the objective of searching for that truth has been defeated.

So when people believe there is no God or a Divinely Supreme Authority and Powerful Being, let’s ask ourselves if the arguments put forward are rationally justifiable to give us absolute closure. The reason I say this is because no matter how atheistical or heretical a person may be one thing for sure that no human being can deny is that the universe had a beginning and if it had a beginning it came from somewhere and if it came from somewhere, someone had to have caused its existence, which means it has a Source, which means that Source exists. So everyone knows logically there has to be someone, somewhere who created it.

Depending on how people die there are countless reasons why blasphemy occurs and by accepting what they are convinced is a reasonable argument all they are doing is walking away from the real problem they cannot face because they are gutless cowards to face and admit their fears. One of many reasons is when we witness the hundreds of thousands and in some cases, millions that have died as a result of tsunamis, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes. The brains of certain individuals become hollow and puff up with emptiness and see this as a clear sign that God most definitely does not exist because He is attributed as One who is Loving and Merciful³ and would never allow such calamities to befall His creatures, no matter how evil and depraved they are. If God doesn’t exist who then is responsible for these catastrophic events? Do we blame the big bang! Do we blame Evolution! If not, who! Does the atheist have the answer to this question?

Deprivation of loved ones is a big culprit in this case. When man has committed unspeakable crimes upon humanity, people crying over their loved ones, spending the rest of their lives in pain and tears because the authorities have allowed the guilty to walk free, God is immediately erased from one’s consciousness. The mental torture some experience due to this oppression causes them to become as cold as ice and avenging their deceased seems to be the only justified option. Knowing vengeance is against the law and knowing they cannot bring them back to life, taking the murderer’s life to taste sweet justice is the only thing they live for without a care whether they go to prison or not. This happens due to the lack of understanding of death and the punishment God has prescribed for such crimes. If the judge and jury have let the guilty man walk free should not the victims’ grievance be with them and the system they have accepted, relied upon and put their trust in and claim is just and nothing at all to do with God. Isn’t this just simple logic? If God’s Law and the Book He Revealed have not been used in court to set a murderer free how is He culpable? His Laws and system is there for a perfectly valid and humanistic reason.

Impatience then increases and the avenger can longer reason with himself or anyone around him and vengeance becomes his purpose to exist. He believes that if there’s a God He should have intervened in preventing the misfortune that’s grieving him. He calls unto Him, only because he is mournful, on the Off chance there may be someone up there and when his supplication is answered he goes right back to mocking His Existence because he believes his will power and determination to overcome and fight his misfortune was accomplished by himself. God knows these people called to Him in jest and their intentions were mockery. However, as God is the Most Merciful, the Most Kind and Most Compassionate He answers who He wills. This is a sign to the supplicant, though he does not accept it was God that answered him, that his call has been heard and a Mercy to him in the hope he may recognise what’s just happened and that his heart may become rekindled from the darkness his soul has been living in but unfortunately some souls remain lifeless to acknowledge such signs.

When they call upon Him and still justice takes longer than they expected or it hasn’t prevailed at all, slowly but surely, due to their emotional state they start to become more convinced that God doesn’t exist and as far as they’re concerned that’s all the proof they need. They do not put their trust in Him or the law and their lives become a wreck so they end up becoming lawless and Godless and the weaker ones find the emptiness, loneliness and death of their loved ones too painful to bear and commit suicide. Imagine dying in that state, deaf, dumb, ignorant, impatient and blind.

The same problem happens when murderers, rapists, blood thirsty and hungry warmongers, monsters and all who follow in their footsteps of evil leave this earth untried and get away with the crimes they committed. Ungodly folk see this as a grave injustice and without hesitation, the first words to emit their mouths are: And there’s a God! This is how easy God has become a target to these people instead of blaming the ones responsible for the crimes they committed.

Undoubtedly everybody wants justice and see criminals punished but a lot of them walk free. Who sets them free? Do criminals stand before God or a human judge? Is it God or the judge that lets the depraved back into society? If someone hurts you would you blame someone else? If someone lied to you would you blame God?

The doors of liberation have been opened to the criminals by the very people who tried them, not God and when there’s no glimmer of hope that these individuals will ever be found guilty the cowards resort to sacrilege. They may get away with it in this world but the punishment awaiting them on the other side is one sentence they will never escape. Remember, not only is God the Most Merciful He is also the Most Just in punishment. So when we hear people saying: How can God exist when He allows all this injustice and suffering to happen? they’re simply proving their cowardice. Since when did the crimes of a criminal become the actions of the one who never committed the crime? This is what the Christian sect, Trinitarians preach. They tell you Jesus (sollallaahu ‘alayhiy wa sallam) died for our sins so you can commit all the sins in the world and be rest assured one man will take them all on board and cleanse your soul for nothing because he was already tortured for the sins of mankind of his generation and the sins of mankind of all the future generations. How shocking and outrageous is that and going a step further, which is quite simply a horrific and unimaginable belief, they tell you babies who die will suffer everlasting perdition because they never accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and saviour. Don’t take my words for it ask a Trinitarian and I dare him to deny this is what Trinitarianism preaches. How do I know this? Because it’s what one of them told me when I was telling him to listen to himself and how incomprehensibly evil this sick belief is.

So is it correct to say that World Wars 1 and 2 the Vietnam War and any war that has taken place since man stepped foot on earth were the orchestrations of God’s thirst for blood? Is some deranged and heretical blasphemer trying to convince mankind this was His way of creating havoc upon the earth that He created for us to live obediently and morally as a mercy from Him! Is God to blame for the brutal murders Jack the Ripper committed? Shall we also blame God for the terrorists who kill mercilessly and the gun rampant maniacs who walk into schools and murder innocent children? Do we blame God when tyrants wipe out their people and when governments invade a country, attack it and leave dismembered bodies, apologise for the innocent that died and call it Collateral Damage? How about blaming God for the innocent that died on one of the most unforgettable and tragic events of the twentieth century, 911 when all those who survived stood there watching the towering infernos stumble to their ruins?

Is God to blame for America’s troops who invaded Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia and the hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children raped, burned alive, tortured, severed from limb to limb and driven over by tanks that they left behind? Better still why don’t we blame God for the manufacturing of weapons designed for wars, drug cartels, human trafficking, child pornography etc. Is there no one else to blame? Can’t we think of anyone, other than God who could possibly be responsible! Who in his right frame of mind would want to worship a deity or believe in a god that preaches murder and terror and submit and surrender to his evil laws! Why would anybody want to believe that? Where’s the satisfaction in practising evil? And who would be stupid enough to follow a man who claimed to be the mouthpiece of his god, conveyed these laws and follow in his footsteps and call him noble! No one except a madman with a sick heart who is mentally disturbed, psychologically troubled and beyond medical cure!

When such examples are put forward, atheists start believing the dehumanisation of mankind is God’s fault. Immediately they switch off and their ability to rationalise at the claim causes them to travel into a dark void they will never leave and this odyssey will just take them further and further away into nihilism. Can we therefore deduce, if we agree that God is to blame, that when someone is in the wrong place at the wrong time gets killed, that when a leader orders the invasion of a country and the armies that went into battle and the soldiers that killed and tortured the innocent were only following orders and serving their countries and all those who died that it wasn’t actually the soldiers’ or perpetrators’ actions that led them to do this, rather it was God’s fault? Is this what Godless folk are vehemently implying? If so the relinquishment of your intelligence is a vital necessity lest you contaminate others with your perverted condition.

These people look to shift the blame elsewhere and in this case the easy way out is to blame the Master of the universe because challenging the real criminals responsible for the heinous crimes they commit is potentially jeopardising to their cushy lives and this is something they will not tackle because they are too cowardly to stand up for the truth and the injustice committed by man. They are of the notion that as God is merely a figment of our imagination, someone we’ll never meet or be held to account for their blasphemy and actions they take their hurt, pain and anger on a lie who people say exists so He is the obvious target to attack. This is the reality of such people.

There’s also the other misconception that when a parent loses a child to a disease, watching their son/daughter slowly deteriorating, they start questioning what they said or done to deserve such affliction and tribulation and why God chose that child in particular because they’ve been good people all their lives and they didn’t deserve such pain so what was the reason God took him/her. Sometimes these parents are strong believers anyway but as soon as they are tested with one trial in life they start questioning their faith in God and depending on the sincerity of the individual they either reject Him completely or look for an alternative god in the hope the answers to their grief will be answered satisfactorily. That immediately makes one wonder who or what were they believing in to easily divert and apostate so quickly because anyone who knows God exists knows the death of his loved one was taken by the same God who gave your loved one life in the beginning. No one said it’s easy to accept the loss of a child or the loss of anyone for that matter speaking but God created us for an appointed term. Some of us He takes early and some late and the Wisdom behind taking children will never be understood by the Godless, except the righteous and God fearing.

There are those parents, when their child gets murdered after a mugging or shot because they refused to hand over their money or mobile phone etc, the first thing they do is cry their hearts out at God and become angry with Him, as if it was the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth that was responsible for the loss of their child that left this world at such a young age? Was it God that mugged your child! Was it God that shot your sibling! Was it God that put the weapon in the criminal’s hand! Was it God that beat your child senselessly over a mobile phone! Was it God that let the murderer walk free! Was it God that didn’t understand your pain? If we follow this line of thinking we might as well implement it and whenever we hear about a murder we should set the murderer free and tell him it’s ok what he’s done and not to worry about it because it’s Gods fault, not his. True or false! Whether you grasp this example or not this is what’s clearly implied. People are simply asleep and too dazed to snap out of it.

God has nothing to do with the actions the criminals commit. He has set a Law for us and if one chooses to ignore those Laws and become defiant, how do you expect your justice to prevail and God to answer your cries and calls when you have rejected Him, His Existence, His Message, His scriptures and prophets and messengers. On top of all that you mocked and blasphemed without remorse. Why is it okay for you to have spent virtually your entire life as a Godless heretic but when you are crying in desperation when you need Him at the most important moment in your life your heart calls to Him and not science? We all need solace at some point in our lives. Sometimes a nice comfortable shoulder to cry on serves as a release. This is part of human nature. We are not robotic. We are of flesh and bone and emotions are part of our existence. It is up to you to involve the authorities to catch him and stabilise society to make it a safer place because you have accepted the law of man as a greater legislation over God’s. If he is caught and the jury reach a not guilty verdict, will you have the courage to fight the courts for your child’s justice or will you continue being the lowly coward you are and blame the One free from all imperfections for the decision that twelve members of the jury agreed upon?

One example of extreme non believers can be found in the ones who have been misfortunate in life to have lost their sight/hearing or both, become paraplegics or tetraplegics (also known as quadriplegics) or lost a limb or those diagnosed with cancer or aids. Being deprived in this manner is, undeniably, mentally traumatising and physically unbearable, no doubt but how does blaming God for your condition, anger and despondency prove He doesn’t exist! How does the death of one’s child prove God doesn’t exist? How does a missing child, never found prove God doesn’t exist etc? Misfortunes in life will happen and will never cease until the last breath of every soul leaves this world, whether we like it or not and if every time God is blamed for the calamities His servants encounter they may as well confine themselves and switch off and just sit there and wait for death to approach them because that kind of mentality is medically abnormal. In that frame of mind common sense will never find its way into this individual’s head.

This is like those groups who live through poverty and see it on a massive scale, witnessing emaciated bodies, people dying on a daily basis because they have no food. They preach that no God of any kind can exist to leave these innocent people in such a state and you find that not only do a vast majority of them spend most of their time aiding and medically attending to their needs they increase in disbelief the more bodies they have to bury. So when your mind is closed, your ears are blocked and you have a distorted understanding about these matters you will never, ever grasp the reality of your tainted thoughts about God and understand why it happens unless you wake up, question your existence and study who God really is, then doubts will become clear.

One classical example of this type of thoughtlessness is evident in one of the most famous and influential natural filmmakers of the twentieth century, David Attenborough. His vast knowledge on an array of subjects makes even atheists appreciate the miracles of life. One cannot help but be glued to the set when you hear the uniqueness of his distinguishing voice and his seemingly limitless knowledge in his documentaries. Religious and non religious people love his programmes and are glued to the set when he explains the universe and its life. As mesmerising, informative and educationally beneficial they are he is one man who cannot accept and understand why these misfortunes in life happen. His bitterness and disappointment only harm himself. A man with such knowledge of the world and the universe in general, from countries, humans and animals, volcanoes and the mysteries of the deep it makes you wonder what happened to him in life that he resorted to discrediting and blaming God for misfortunes that he clearly does not understand. In a number of his interviews⁴ he says one thing and then contradicts it with another. Let me give you a few examples.

In an interview on YouTube he said: I often get letters, quite frequently and people say how they like the programmes a lot but I never give credit to the Almighty Power that Created nature, to which I reply and say: Well it’s funny that people when they say that this is evidence of Almighty always quote beautiful things, they always quote orchids and hummingbirds and butterflies and roses but I always have to think too of a little boy sitting on the banks of a river in West Africa who has a worm boring through his eyeball turning him blind before he’s five years old and I reply and say: Well presumably the God you speak about created the worm as well" and I find that baffling to credit a Merciful God, that action and therefore it seems to me safer to show things that I know to be truth, truthful and factual and allow people to make up their own mind about the moralities of this thing or indeed the theology of this thing . . ."

The trap he fell for was emotion. It obscured his vision and perception. Instead of coming outside his box, he locked himself inside it. Someone offered him the key but he was sceptical and thought he could get out another way. This is the problem. He didn’t stop to think that if he searches for an opening he’ll find an exit. There’s nothing safe about this at all. How does
