Manjuri Neogi

Manjuri Neogi is a freelance poet and photographer. She was born and brought up in Shillong , hill station in North East of India. This place inspired her , since childhood to write poems on nature. Thoughts on human emotions woven in poetic form came naturally to her. She is also a good photographer and she uses this medium to express her creativity. She has done M.Phil in Philosophy from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has been a Gold Medallist from North Eastern Hill University in B.A (Literature) and M.A (Philosophy). Preface

Writing poetry came naturally to me. Born and brought up amidst the nature, I could see and feel beauty all around me. Life, nature and various shades of living always attracted me. So, I kept on penning a few lines every now and then. Over the years my collection got to a respectable size. I then thought of publishing my work of best 100 poems.

This book contains various colours of life and love. It is mainly intended to warm up the hearts of readers with the light of love. I have dealt with the pain of love as much as the pleasure of it. The journey of writing these poems was completely based on my mood at that particular moment.

All the work is that of fiction. It is not intended for anyone in particular. I hope my readers discover themselves in this collection of my verses.
