About this ebook

'An idea may be born from the unused fork on a dinner plate'. A few spoken lines may seem a conversation to some while they may be the source of a poet's song. And who says poetry is always written? It may arise from the lips of a mother and live forever till generations to come, sometimes in the form of a rhyme and at other, words of tradition. If there can be science in poetry, then why can there be not poetry in the laws of science? At the most concentrated ultimate end point of thoughts, everything converges towards Nature, be they the laws of science or the meters of a line. With this little cake in mouth of mind, the Moustached Poet bravely jumped into writing poems when he was in high school.

    THE MOUSTACHED POET SPEAKS

There isn’t adequate amount of words that I may use. I have remained an admirer of the laws of Nature written in the language of mathematics and symbols. Perhaps that indication of Nature in every beautiful truth embodied in the operation or functioning of particles, devices and calculations has been my inherent inspiration to compose a few lines to talk to myself. The Moustached Poet is not just me— he may be anyone who gives a thought about beauty and evil, who may find devilish comedy in veils of beautiful existence or beautiful kisses amidst curses of evil. The poems contained in this anthology are simple thoughts and observations coupled with mischiefs and grieves, people and gods, love and heart, country and mother. Sometimes truth seeks the hug of imagination in order to be retold. In a few poems, I have done what I have felt is a justice to the honesty in a truth by blending it with intuitive chances of occurrence of another truth in line. In others, I have produced the experience of being comical at times of loneliness, at times when the most serious gentleman around appears to be a clown (with respect in heart though). Technology makes reality bookish. Today, the
