The Author lives in southwest Michigan. She told this story, one night, when Jahf and Steve wanted a scary story... It's been written, in segments and saved in journals, for many years and this last summer was "put together". Ms Stevens is a weaver, though. She started weaving over 30 years ago. She owns 5 looms that always has a project on them. She has a motto hanging in her studio that says “Don’t die with all of your colors left inside”. She decided that this book was a different color that she needed to weave. She belongs to several weavers guilds and associations. She attended Oakland University and Macomb College where she majored in Art and Elementary Education.
