A Journey of Faith

About this ebook
A Journey of Faith in Prayer is a book of poetry that began as a process of healing. It speaks of the inner journey of a soul connecting with God through creation and Gods creatures. It takes into consideration the plight of souls as they journey to God, meeting God through nature and other people. It empathizes with others on their journey as well as the souls own journey, knowing that belief in the power of God will heal all pain.

Acknowledgement
Special acknowledgement is extended to Sr. Reginald Gerdes, OSP, Mrs. Theresa Wilson-Favors who encouraged me to write, and to Sr. Marina Kelley, OSP who did the final editing. Sr. Mary McNally, OSF who was instrumental in getting published these booklets of poems, now published in book form. Therefore, special thanks to the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany especially Sr. Dorothy Dwyer, OSF who was kind enough to take up the challenge of sorting out this poetry into four booklets. These four booklets will now become one book.
Preface
These four booklets of poetry, which will now be compiled into one book, were the very first poems I attempted to write down what was raging in my heart. It was in 2004 that I wrote my first poem about the Foundress of my Congregation, the Oblate Sisters of Providence. This poem was called, Valiant Woman.
These poems were all mixed up and I really did not know what to do with them but with some nudging from friends I was bold enough to get them
