About this ebook

At the age of eighty, I realized I had a lot more to say!

What I had to say came out in poetic form. My first poetic musing was an appreciative refusal that may bring a tear to the eye. My other poems will make you laugh, smile, reminisce, ponder, appreciate life, and meditate on the beauty, grace, and mysteries of God. I

    THE GIFT I COULDN’T ACCEPT

I was offered a gift I could never take.

Praise be to Jesus, our Lord and King.

    UTOPIA

    Imagine life without stress.

A life you live where you choose.

A life with no bad news.

Imagine life where everyone loved each other

like we love our brother or our mother.

A life where greed has no seed,

and a garden we don’t need to weed.

A life where we all succeed.

A life where we have no need.

A life where envy is hard to conceive.

A life without sickness or disease.

All of this is possible if we
