    Prologue

It is an interesting insight that the, Reverend G. Brown-Johnson has put forth through this reading. It is both thoughtful and a very distinctly provoking, presenting an intriguing analogy of

A Bee In The Church House.

Interesting, because bees do not look as a norm, to use their sting unless, they are threatened. The sting, which is a defensive measure, becomes an offensive weapon, to protect and defend the Bee’s perceived turf. Herein is revealed to the reader that there is a turf battle (Strong Holds) in the church, i.e.,: This is my song; this is my seat; this is my… When these turfs are threatened, the Bee will look to and use its sting, seemingly in many cases, to the detriment of the Believer.

However, we praise God for those who study His Word which shares our antidote available for prevention from a Bee sting!

    Foreword

As I considered writing the foreword for this book, A Bee In The Church House, it profoundly struck me that in the midst of this messed up world, Christianity is alive and well.

Reverend G. Brown-Johnson has helped to expose a systematic problem within the walls of our sanctuaries and has provided for each reader a Godly exit strategy that one must work at to be the man or woman of God that He is calling for in these last and evil days.

This book will help each reader to move from membership to ownership, that we will own this Gospel that we preach, teach and live.

    Introduction

    57301.jpg

First, I must give honor, thanks and praise to God, my Creator, for an open window in heaven. This book is shared as an opportunity for us to know that God loves us unconditionally and pours out so many blessings that each of us will not have room enough to receive. This is not a joke! His message must be heard and read worldwide. My prayer is that these words will be digested as His wisdom strategy to fight the good fight of faith for we win the invisible war in heaven while on earth. This battle is the Lord’s and is not a vain imagination. We are well able to overcome and have victory over every evil by faith, being bold and not afraid. Belief in God, by faith, does provide the courage to conquer the hurdle that appears to be impossible for achieving a higher level of inspiration against the forces of darkness.

Read these words from the heart of one sharing the polar examples of many vicissitudes attempting to halt life’s positive potential in spiritual transitioning. By these experiences hear the voice of one who has learned to trust God through hungering and thirsting after righteousness. God is One in whom we can trust and He is our healer. By trusting God, the shackles of fearful captivity are removed. There is release from abuse, rejection, even the pangs of death, lifted by His resurrection power. The testing trials lead to my testimony, that I am healed and made free through God’s Word.

These words of truth are spoken freely in love. Completely delivered from the chains that held me hostage, I am filled with His precious Holy Spirit; upon the acceptance of whose I am, as He lives through me. With His renewing of mind, upon the confession of faith, I am exalting the righteousness of God as it is written within His book of life. At this time, as is manifested, the Spirit of His grace and mercy keeps my mind in perfect peace by faith in the knowledge of who He is within me, as a member of the church.

We are to be cognizant of evil spirits, no longer remaining in ignorance by our lack of knowledge concerning unseen forces, while holding the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18). This is a personal overview of that stated in the New Testament Book of Romans for obtaining a better understanding of that lingering spirit among us and is suspect; existing as a spirit of anger, full of selfishness, deceit, bitterness, strife, buzzing, hissing, and at times appearing, as a rattling pit demon.

Within the church house is one who seems familiar. It is as a chamaeleo (chameleon) in that it likes to hide by changing colors and puffs up with air to appear larger causing others to become fearful. This spirit masquerades with drama issues as one who is Kingdom-bound, dressed up as a wanna-be king, possibly a queen, princess, or prince, but inwardly is a whited sepulcher (Romans 3:13-18; Matthew 23:27-28). In a structured building, we assemble with other believers in love one for the other (Romans 12:10 and 13:8). The question remains, however, it should be clearly evident, what we are full of? Are others able to distinguish who it is that actually live in our house (body) as the righteous? As believers in the body of Christ, we are now the temple of the living God. This house is not made by hand.

There lays within us, as the Church house, another member, who tempts us to do evil and hurt others. Have you ever heard the expression, or that old cliché, mean as SIN to describe others? It is an expression used to indicate that this is one mean individual who devises evil tactics through our flesh and is situated in the church house. Alongside these individuals, in the church, are those who are obedient to the faith of Jesus Christ, and simply loving. Called to be saints, they are sweet like honey found in a honeycomb. Whenever you see them, you want to hug, hold and kiss ’em because they are so entreatingly kind. These are the majority in the church when it is full of God’s Holy Spirit.

This church that Jesus built is established upon a rock. On His Rock, a solid foundation, we are able to stand secure and are safe from every opposition. Only He is our sure foundation by which we are called the righteous. Conversely within these sacred walls are persons with corruptible spirits who do not like to retain God in their knowledge (Romans 1:28). These contradicting spirits find pleasure in taunting the fleshly emotions of others through hurt, pain and deliberate suffering and are destructive. Their methodical aim is to initiate hindrances of confusion that may cause the righteous to repudiate their walk in unity by remaining judgmental. Only God is our righteous judge, get excited! He is the final authority for all, with Him is no respect of persons; we are inexcusable concerning the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 2-3).

As a new member, fellowshipping or having connected with those located in a church assembly or any presently in the church, and have been hurt; hear the Word, be encouraged, and in fact, encourage yourself in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6). Press forward even if deeply wounded, perhaps now suffering in silence from ill-treatment or harshness of spoken words, from past and present. Those literally suffering, walking with a limp, either because of others actions or a decision made, know God’s truth: the end is not yet. Daily is that constant struggle to choose, because an old nature fights and wars against renewing a right spirit. We are still transitioning from the lustful desires of the flesh and the longing of things this world has to offer, by which we are so easily distracted. Striving in our spirit, we struggle to apply godly principles and are without an excuse for remaining in sin (Romans 3-6).

God commands us to "forgive and let it go" (Matthew 18:33-35). In the natural, this is easier said than done. Once again it is because of our lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life as stated in 1 John 2:16 that leads to rebellion of righteousness resulting in sin. According to the Book of Romans (7:17-23), sin is that of continuing to do that which we know to be absolutely wrong biblically and is a desire to please flesh, rather than God. We are too weak to fight without Christ. That other member (an evil spirit) if allowed, will make every attempt to destroy the house, but the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. Amp up! Receive this word as a gift of healing for motivational aspiration in His divine connection!

Through these pages, we obtain a greater revelation of justification by faith as our true source of joy with laughter, as the cords of unbelief are dropped. Let each of us, prayerfully, consider our way (Haggai 1:7-11). Is God pleased with us and all which we seek (Matthew 6:33)? We are to be truthful in love, reminded that none of us in the church have yet reached perfection. We come to church without full knowledge of what or who we shall become as we walk by faith. Our recognition is that none of us have arrived. It is acknowledging that in each of us, there must be a change for the better as His completed work.

In God, we trust and do not doubt because with Him all things are possible if we would believe in supernatural impossibilities. There is still work to be done within and through us for our community. As the called out from the darkness of this world, to walk in His light, as one body in Christ; not forsaking the assembling of ourselves with other believers that we may unify corporately as the faith-filled (Romans 8-10). When facing opposition, make His praise more glorious!

This personal testimony expressed, along with a few songs, is a mighty revelation no one else can write. Called out, an Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a Chosen one, to write the vision, the Holy Spirit says make it plain and easy to accept the truth about God as our source for everything, a summation of being complete In Him. Write the vision clearly exalting His righteousness, that those who read it or hear it will experience a full recovery from everything which impedes the flow of God’s love. Awaken by faith in His strength to run and stay strong to the finish (Habakkuk 2:2). It is written, as the Holy Spirit of God has given. Read and run with a greater determination of seeking and fulfilling His purpose, living life with His grace more abundantly.

Keep the eye focused in Christ and we can rise above every adversity of devastating pain in darkness. When the sting of the bee attempts to show up, and it will, allow the glory of the Lord to rise up within and stomp that already dead bee! Stomp, shout and cry aloud: Thank you Lord for saving me! I double dare you to lift Jesus higher in every area of life because we are created as His instrument of praise. He promises to never leave or forsake us. Remember, stay focused in Christ (Romans 11-12). Go higher, until harsh words are no longer heard or felt as a memory of pain. Still feeling pain from hurtful words spoken? Go higher in praise and prayer for His power! Meditate on God’s Word as the rocket fuel for endued power of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, go even higher and soar in His rest.

Now as the children of God, let us walk together and not become weary in well doing. Build each other up with words that edify and not tear down. His truth triumphantly lives through us from age to age (Romans 13-16). Let us learn to walk together in His righteousness, living with His purpose, pleasing the "Lord who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty" (Revelation 1:8).

A Bee In The Church House exposes instances of usual drama or traumatic experiences that can become a root of bitterness or perceived as a hindering wound, if not scripturally corrected and spiritually guided for healing. It is with the power of the Holy Spirit that we obtain by faith the newness of Christ that eradicates a desire to exist as a "form of godliness" (Romans 1:18-32); — (a hypocrite). Whatever the trial or test, we are to persevere in prayer without ceasing, diligently seeking God as our exceeding great reward. Transformation, through a renewing of the mind, causes us to be righteously equipped to do all that is written in our manual for living as Christians now, and in the world that is to come. God’s word is the Truth!
