THE NIGHT I FELL IN LOVE
Oh No, I can’t believe this has happened to me
How could it be?
When did it start?
At first, when we were apart
I began to miss and yearn for him
I thought it was all on a whim
And that I was only going through
A stage of loneliness and woe
But no!
It was more than just a whimsical feeling
For my soul was in for a healing
While my heart was to be broken into pieces
How did this happened
Again, I ask myself
How could it be?
When did it start?
When did my world fall apart?

(THE RAMBLING OF A WOMAN IN LOVE)
I’ve got to hold on
For this I know is the one
Can’t get discouraged
And allow the pain to take over my soul
Need to grasp for leverage
Why can’t I fight?
It hits you like a bullet
Fast and clean
Your body’s in shock
The pain comes after
As the shock wears off
And your body takes in the pain
I must be insane
Please, if you’re looking down from up above
I hope you’re listening to the rambling of this woman in love

CHAPTER ONE
Being left alone
Becoming a single parent is an obstacle we don’t ever think we will have to encounter. We marry with the idea that our marriages will last forever, therefore divorce is the furthest thing from our mind.
This book is not advocating divorce. I believe that marriage is a sacred bond that should not be dissolved, except under the most extreme circumstances. In Matthew 19:1-10, Jesus talks about divorce and marriage. When the Pharisees, yet again, tried to trap Jesus by asking Him should a man be allowed to divorce his wife for any reason, Jesus answered by telling them that God made man and woman and that the man leaves his father and mother to join his wife and they are united into one, and no one can separate them because God joined them together. The Pharisees proceeded to ask, Then why did Moses say that a man can write an official letter of divorce and send his wife away?
Jesus replied in verse 8, Moses permitted divorce as a concession to your hard-hearted wickedness, but it was not what God had originally intended.
In verse 9 He continues, And I tell you this, a man who divorces his wife and marries commits adultery—unless his wife had been unfaithful.
This does not mean that a person should automatically file for a divorce when adultery is the factor. I believe that sound Christian counseling can become a positive aspect of the solution.
Since our tolerance level may vary, these said circumstances might differ from one couple to the next. For example, an extramarital affair is not acceptable at all, but with the proper counseling, communication and forgiveness, the couple might be able to work it out. On the other hand, what if this same incident happened to another couple, and there is counseling involved; but the incident in question is so emotionally unbearable, that they are unable to handle living together? In this situation, we must remember that we are all sinners. Romans 3:23 says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
as God forgives us, He expects us to forgive each other. No one can live up to what God created us to be; we all fall short of his glory.
