About this ebook

Called to Call has been written to help remind Christians of their primary purpose and to help reinspire soul winners who are becoming fatigued right in front of the biggest end-time harvest of precious souls ever so that they can continue to shod their feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace as they run with Gods vision. This book will not only challenge you, but it will also inspire you in the area of evangelism. Every chapter is Holy Spirit inspired, and every word is Holy Spirit anointed for a maximum impartation of passion for dying souls. The central message for all eight chapters of this book is pointing to the fact that if Christians will start dressing up in front of Gods mirror, they will start noticing the fact that they have been running the race that is set before them bare footed.

    Stand Up For Jesus

This book is dedicated to all soul winners everywhere.

I will like to specially thank the Chief Steward of Redemption Chapel of Grace & Miracles, Pastor Greg I. U. Eke—who like Michelangelo saw an angel in the stone. By bringing me into the ministry, you gave me a rare privilege to serve under a great, humble and an anointed servant of God like you.

I will also like to personally thank my good friend and brother in Christ, Ketandu Ofoneme, for producing all the illustrations used in this book. And I won’t fail to mention Busayo Sawyerr, who also assisted me in the editing of this book, and my elder brother, Emeka Ofili, for his support during the period of writing this book—you guys are highly appreciated.

    INTRODUCTION

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil Day, and having done all, to stand.

    Stand therefore, having your loins girt about With truth, and having on the breastplate of Righteousness;

And YOUR FEET SHOD with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith Ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

    — (Ephesians 6:13-17, KJV)

From the above scripture, we are told to be fully dressed up like soldiers with the complete armor of God. There are so many things that make up the complete armor of God—things like the soldiers belt, the breastplate, the shield, the helmet, the sword and the BOOT. This book will lay emphasis on the soldier’s BOOT, but I will also like to point out that it does not in any way emphasize one scriptural truth over the other. And by that I mean: it does not place more importance on the soldiers BOOT and less importance on the other armors. Rather it tries to bring to our consciousness, the fact that the twenty-first century Christian soldier should start becoming more and more accustomed to dressing with his BOOTS on.

As we await the master’s soon return, we are told to do the work of an evangelist (2Timothy 4:5). But how can we evangelize our world and march through the enemy’s camp when we as soldiers don’t have any boots on. This book has been written to help you shod your feet so that you can begin to run with God’s vision. It will not only challenge you, but it will also inspire you in the area of evangelism.

All the eight different chapters written in this book are pointing you to the same thing, but in different ways. The central message for all eight chapters is pointing to the fact that if Christians will start dressing up in front of God’s mirror, they will start noticing the fact that they have been running the race that is set before them bare footed. I pray that as you read this book, may the Holy Spirit use the truth contained within it to spur you into action.

    CHAPTER ONE

    THE LIGHT IN THE SUN

YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: a city that Is set on a hill cannot be hid.

    — (MATTHEW 5:14, KJV)

There was once a land upon which the sun had never ceased to shine for a long time. There was no night but only day. For this reason everyone threw away their lamps except one strange old farmer. One day as
