About this ebook

This book is a congregation of my attempts to view various aspects of life and death in an honest, positive, and realistic yet abstract point of view.

With an open mind, I explore the ability to expose significant gifts within contrast, opposition, and similarity.

In order to facilitate the improvement of understanding alternative concepts, I share an array of perspectives.

The irony of this books main theme versus my life is quite uncanny. But in my efforts to be optimistic, I reduced my obsession of death and fantasy. Through insight and altered mind-set, I have covered a scope of ideals that I sincerely hope will help people in a constructive way.

    The gifts of life

    Dali Bo Furnell

The gifts of life – the theme of this book – versus my preached practice of life is quite ironic. But one cannot deny that irony is not interesting. Read it Rawly, the title, refers to how the book is best read – with an open mind and an honest heart.

    CONTENTS

    Climb the steps, no pressure.

    Your ultimate can be anything.

Become aware of what we share. We are united and compatible.

The gift of combination and the act of mastering the tightrope of randomised mind states.

Acceptance and realisation can aid in one’s survival.

    Curiosity may be my saviour.

What could be a poor way of self-control could also be the avenue through which one has the ability to understand others with similar issues. Thus, the ability to help others is created.

An inner bond which cannot be broken could sometimes be ignored, but it remains with you throughout your life. When in doubt, use your gut.

If you discover energy, teach others to find it as well. We are here to help each other build healthy foundations. Spread positivity and good intentions.

Insight is a gift, and within itself, a paradox – insight is the ability to see the sadness in beauty.

DarknessReality and fantasy would mix into an endless blur that neither defined me nor led me. Like clockwork, what seemed like tragedy would strike, and yet again, I was proven that life could always become worse. I would continue to loathe everything, including myself.

A few steps back remain steps, if you choose to perceive them that way. Something is better than nothing, and no matter how bad you think your destiny will turn out to be, you have the freedom to learn, share, think, and feel.

There is a gift in being reminded as well as being capable of reminding. There is also a gift in the capacity to appreciate the existence of reminders.

Acknowledge and realise that you have the right to see things as you wish, you have the right to change, and you have the right to allow yourself to embrace the ability to overcome what constricts you.

If one is able to see it, there is much more substance to the things we fling around in our everyday lives. We are not always aware of the toll something can have, because we have grown too ‘used to’ and ‘bored of’.

Passion should be appreciated for its flexible yet concrete demeanour, as it is a source of energy which remains clean and unpolluted.

Revenge, blame, and regret could possibly be more beneficial when avoided.

What we need may not be what we want. But what we do not need has to be realised in order to achieve what we want.

Pain and suffering are ingredients unpalatable, but in this life, we are often forced to consume them.

A happy heart is a happy life, no matter the intelligence.

The gift of being able to interpret your dreams.

To Hendriette, my mother, and Michelle, my dearest friend

You are profound rays of light that will no doubt continue to shine and embody grace throughout a myriad of lifetimes.

I thank you for your radiant beauty and revolutionary insight.

You are free birds, and I love you infinitely.

Many talk about gifts. There are various kinds of gifts – gifts of apology, gifts of gratitude, materialistic gifts, and so on. What I would like to introduce to you are, in my view, the gifts of life.

    CLIMB THE STEPS, NO PRESSURE.

"They say ‘you live the life you choose’. But what if you did not receive your so-called chosen life?

I seem to think that, by some error, I received the wrong life. I did not choose this life. I certainly never chose to be the way I am. I wanted to live the way of love and joy, but as fate would have it, it did not quite happen that way.

How could it be that I have become so profoundly unhappy? Is it all due to some absurd flaw in nature? A flaw that remained unchanged and uninfluenced by human choice perhaps? Or is it for a reason not yet discovered?

Honestly, who would want to endure each day with the sole goal of merely lasting through the day? Who would want to carry on when difficulties only seem to worsen with time?

So ‘they say’ we choose – but what happens if you decide to make things better and they simply become worse? I chose to make a change. I elected the attempt of improvement. But in the end I felt I might as well have given up as it proved to make no visible difference, whatever the choice.

Now, what I just said may seem negative. But the mind state in
