The Princess, the Process, the Peace, and Other Musings is an assortment of perspectives and opinions from a curious observer perched in Pennsylvania during the past 25 years to offer them to the public sphere.

These verses generally pertain to topics concerning the adoration of various captivating women, issues of political concern, personal reflection and reflective honor of individuals of interest. Such works regard issues and impressions that I believe demand creative concerns and respects.

I have written poetry most of my conscious life, but my output has demonstratively increased since my automobile accident from which I suffered a head injury that held me comatose for six weeks. The experience opened me to a dramatically altered view of life as and its liberties.

    Dedicated to Mother Dear

    Eileen Campbell Mallouk

    Adoration

    Princess

Her soul shines amidst the dark tone

Of her raven locks and deep eyes

To cast a pure and complete warmth,

Which might draw a man from desperate cries

To a world of new heights and hopes,

An air this boy has never known

Since he fell and has had to cope

With the twisted time he has spent alone.

Aye – a true vision to value

While most senses here are so subdued,

Her face had me heed all those thoughts

I had formerly feared and fought

    So honest

Was I too bold to know to stop,

Or did I try to feel too much,

    So sensitive

For I was told she reigned atop

As a Princess always to adore.

She’s called the Princess in her palace –

Duly so for her fine form soars

Through the minds of men whom be lured

To see the wonder of what she is.

The smile by which I was so graced

Helped me from my quite forlorn place

And altered the sense that chose the way

I led to bring me to this stage,

Which does little to soothe the rage,

That stems from my well guarded stay,

Despite the madness I’ve been told,

Donna gave me a sense so lovely to hold.

    For Joy

I see the sea serve its role

    What tide it takes

The waves will exchange so whole

    What will it wakes,

But her sight and sound befall

    What urges one speaks

Of man that cares just to call

    What his heart seeks

    Joy

I hear the waves crash the shore

    To wash the sand

Of past and poor thoughts or lore

    To let me stand

How she had approached and passed

    To have me host

    Great realms of regret amassed

    To rue me most

    Extending to touch the thought

    Would levy cost,

    Admitting the failure fought

    Would embrace loss,
