About this ebook

Road Less Travelled is a second book of Poetry by appraised author Malobi Sinha - another tapestry woven from words of wisdom and insight.

"There is a freshness and vibrancy in Malobi Sinha's poems that I for one have rarely encountered in the otherwise Byzantine mazes of much contemporary poetry. The complex layers of meaning in her poems, beneath their often apparent simplicity, rewards the reader at every turn."

Graham Pitts, Screenwriter

"Malobi Sinha writes poems of suppleness and emotional candour... Although Australia is rich in poetic talent like Ms Sinha...the rewards of her poetry are many, and her poems encourage repeated readings, growing richer and more complex each time."

Phillip A. Ellis, Author, Editor Melaleuca

    Road Less Travelled - Malobi S Sinha

    Whole

    I am flame

    I am the wind

    In the trees

    I am she who you

    Call when the chips

    Are down; the one

    Who comes to you

    At your call.

    I am your mother

    Your wife

    Your daughter

    And child;

    I am the flame

    In your heart

    I will tear you apart

    On a whim

    If you know not

    Who I am; I will render

    You senseless, useless,

    Battered and down

    If you abuse any part

    Of my whole;

    But love me

    And you will get

    The just rewards

    Of love returned

    Salvation unfolded;

    I am a part

    Of your whole

    When the Stars

    When the stars are my Lover

    In the dead of night

    And the Moon hangs

    Low in the sky;

    Then call my name

    And I will be with you

    As the dreams shining bright

    In your eyes

    Kiss me gently, as

    Only you can,

    And the Sun will peek

    Through the clouds;

    My name on your

    Lips is all I need

    To hear, as the birds

    Fly home in the dusk

    Never again, I hear

    You say, as we part

    Company in the park;

    Never again will

    I be without you

    You are my Lord

    My Love, my All.

    Worth

    I do not know the paths

    That await me

    In the days that are

    To come; But this

    I do know that

    I may walk them

    Victoriously if only

    I look inside and

    Find within me

    The strength and courage

    To fight all battles

    To surmount any obstacle

    And to make friends

    Of the fiercest of foes;
