Thine Canvas is White
Full of love and light,
It is here,
I take flight.
At the knowledge of freedom,
I pick up my brush,
In a colorful rush,
I’ll fill the canvas with colors,
Shades of light,
Hues of Blue,
Red for love will make due.
Over time I’ll slowly fill the space,
Without a doubt,
Without a trace,
My painting will be a beacon to all,
Who have witnessed,
This eternal fall,
From grace,
A grave disgrace.
But that’s the beauty of art,
As clay in one’s hand,
We hold the plan,
And will mold it as we wish.
Choose dark colors,
For a dark day.
Or choose happy colors,
for a new way.
It is but a Choice.
With your brush in hand,
Create whatever colors you can.
This painting is my last,
Yet also my first.
For this time it is by birth,
A book well written,
They’ll say someday,
And that’s why I crave,
To fill away,
Every crevice and nook,
With the most extravagant of lines,
This painting,
I’ve named Divine.
My canvas is perfect,
It is true,
Art is but for the fools,
Well I am a fool proudly today,
Proud in all my silly ways,
Art is Life
