About this ebook

Very little is written about the special-needs children during the Holocaust and what happened to them. One important book is Hitlers Forgotten Victims.
But besides telling, it is also to show how special these children aretheir ability to love and to be loved.
They are more than a burden and great responsibility; they bring forth the best in us, values we so often forget or dismiss as not important.

ANNIKA TETZNER

Annika Tetzner was born in Praha, Czechoslovakia, to a Jewish family. In 1942, the family was deported to Theresienstadt Ghetto in Czechoslovakia and later was deported to Birkenau. She is the only survivor of the family. Growing up with a non-Jewish family, she got her education and married. After losing her husband, she finally settled in Israel; there she still lives. She has basically written about the Holocaust and finds it is important to tell the younger generation about what happened during the Holocaust. She is also a known artist with several exhibitions in Europe.
