To his best fan, Andy Rembis, who loved his stories, songs and adventures and his lovely sister, Blossom, who left for the Rainbow Bridge at the grand age of 14 ½. They are sharing a cloud there, since Andy left a month after Blossom. They are sorely missed.
Introduction
There is a Basset Hound named Arfur who once sat in a shelter. Kind people from a rescue freed him from the shelter and put him in a home. Now he has a farmhouse with a huge fenced in yard and lots of toys and lots of love and other hounds to play with. He has discovered a talent for rhyme, especially to music. This is a small sampling of his unique gift.
Rescue
Life is sad and scary without a home. Sometimes it is scary with a home when it is a bad one with cruel or ignorant people. When a Basset winds up in a shelter, or is reported to an ASPCA, a rescue will step in and place the hound in a foster home or kennel until a permanent home is found. Great care is taken to put the hound
