    Introduction to the reader of

    In my first book, A Colorful Journey Through the Land of Talking Letters, I introduced the first 26 letters of the alphabet (26 phonograms) and their sounds. The remaining 44 phonograms of the 70 total phonograms have more than one letter in their makeup. This book (Act One) introduces 22 of these 44 phonograms. The remaining 22 phonograms will be presented in my third book (Act Two.)
