Author

Karla Henderson

I was born the youngest of six daughters to a Ukrainian immigrant and a English descendant. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my life that has made me experience love, loss, hate, abuse and neglect but has made me the person I am today, with no regrets or hatred. I have a positive outlook on life and believe in helping others as well as standing up for what I believe in. I have been writing poetry for thirty years now. I’ve been published in several poetry anthologies and have received many awards. I am a supporter of The Arbor Day Foundation, and other wildlife and environmental foundations. In this book you will find that I write on a wide range of subjects including love, war, poverty, environmental, black history, and much more. This book includes something for all ages. I have put my heart and soul in every poem and thought. When you read this book I hope it touches your heart and soul as well and helps make a difference in a changing world in which we all live.
