Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

About the Author

Carrie Bishop Jones, a native of Choctaw County born to Deacon James Ellis and Mary B. Bishop in Yantley, Alabama. High school diploma was received from Choctaw County Training School in Lisman, Alabama. Bachelor of Art Degree was received from Miles College in Birmingham, Alabama. Master of Education was received from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and Lincoln University in Missouri. The Honorary Doctor Degree for outstanding work in Saint Louis, Missouri. Attended Boston State University and Greater Grace School of Ministry. A certificate in the ministry from, Universal Ministries located in Milford, Illinois was received on May 28, 2010.

My work experience lies in education and government jobs for the pass 32 years. The teacher of the year award was received four continuous years during my teaching career. The science award was received in biology for an outstanding experiment. On April 22, 1986 I was imitated into PHI Delta Kappa at Atlanta University Consortium. A plaque was given in 1984 and 2004 for the most outstanding black woman of the decade from the Medical Health Department in Saint Louis and Kinloch Missouri. Also, serve as a grant writer for various programs.
