About this ebook

Getting a blessing from God, doesn't come naturally. It comes from having belief in the Almighty God who sits on high. Understanding the primary source of where supernatural powers are originated from, plays an important role in receiving a blessing or miracle. One important factor to keep in mind when praying for a blessing is to put forth one's best effort in whatever God ask of one to do .
When enough roadways are placed behind you on this Christian journey, blessings begin to come forth. There are many supernatural gifts that are sent from the heavens above, in order to be a blessing to Christians below on earth. When God becomes content and satisfied enough with the praise and glory hes given in return, miracles began to perform. Miracles will keep pouring out, until ones cup has run over.
Continue to put into effect the spirit of giving. Its more to give than it is to receive in the eyesight of God. God will continue to bless the people who are willing to give to another brother and sister in Christ. Giving comes from the heart. Something has to be felt on the inside, before it can be manifested on the outside. We must first give honor to God in all we say and do. Without him nothing is possible, or impossible.

Catrice Jones

I was born on December 3, 1980, at Earl K. Long Hospital of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My mother and father played an important role in my life. As I got older, I found myself wiser about life, after becoming a mother at the age of fourteen. Having my first child at such a young age had a major stronghold over me, but with God nothing was too hard to accomplish. I successfully completed high school at Port Allen High School, the year of 1998. After completing a course in Cosmetology at Camelot Career College, I received a license to become a certified Cosmetologist the year of 1999. Later on I graduated from a Delta College of Arts and Technology, with a Degree in Nursing, receiving a license in the year of 2003. I'm currently in training to be a minister, attending a Holy Ghost filled ministry. I enjoy talking to people who take pride in being in the presence of God. I also like sitting under a tree on a sunny day, having private conversations with God. Now I have a great pleasure for writing books. I hope by the near future this book will have affected someone’s life for the better.

FIRST, I GIVE honor to God who’s been my leader throughout the entire writing process of this book. Without God it wouldn’t have been possible. I give him the entire honor and the glory on high. Thank You God, for there is no other like you.

Second, I give honor to my mother and father who I love very dearly. I wouldn’t trade them for all the silver and gold in the world.

Third, to my four loving, precious children who are the loves of my life. The future of my children, inspired me to strive each day God sent, towards the completion of this wonderful book. I believe their future depends on a mother who will do everything in her will power, under the covenant of God, to see them succeed.

Fourth, to my three best friends’ who are dear to me in their own unique way.

Fifth, to Oprah Winfrey, a strong black African American woman, who’s an inspiration to men, women, and children, all across the nation. I believe she strives on a day to day basis to accomplish set goals. It’s no doubt in my mind that she doesn’t know how to get a blessing from God.

    How does God know you?

FROM THE FIRST time that you are born, God knows all about you. He knows you by name. He’s already acquainted with you as a human being. There’s know preference to sex, color, creed, race or culture. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27). In God’s eyesight you are considered a newborn creature with a reason to be here. Children are some of God’s most delicate vessels. A child can be easily molded to do whatever purpose chosen to be done through a higher power. It doesn’t matter if it’s by the spiritual or the natural realm. It’s been known to man that God watches over little children, even babies by the use of angels.

Have you ever seen a baby smiling while asleep? Have it ever occurred that it might be God speaking to such a delicate vessel? No matter how small the vessel maybe, God still takes advantage of the purpose and calling him or she has on their lives. God knows everything that will occur in their life’s time line before they are able to walk and talk. He slowly addresses certain characteristics in a child as they begin to grow. God admires his little ones, as if they were his only begotten son Jesus Christ. He’s willing to grasp them by the hand and guide them carefully throughout life’s ever changing time line.

As a baby continues to grow and maneuver with life, many challenges and changes begin to come about. The baby begins to grow with life’s unpredictable seasons. As the life’s time line continues to grow, the baby’s time line does also. The baby has made it through the infant stage, but much more molding is required. Toddlers begin to get closer to God. Perhaps they can pronounce three letter words. It should be almost mandatory that each child become knowledgeable about the three letter word God. When something is taught during the toddler stage in life, majority of the time it becomes habit forming. It becomes accepted as part of their daily routine. It’s wiser to teach a child while their young so they won’t go astray. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6). God loves little children with a passion. Even though parents are given the role of caring and nurturing their children, God never stops providing for their every need.

Their eyes are anointed to see better the images that are of him; enabling them to see the many great gifts that are offered to them from the Lord. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see things from the beginning and not just the end. A child at this stand point can see mistakes before they even happen. This doesn’t mean that their vision won’t get blurry from time to time. God always leaves a part out that only he can see, in order for you to continue to seek what or who is being looked for. He wants you to not be just a hearer, but a doer. "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." (James 1:22). God wants to see what his children will do not only in the physical, but in the supernatural aspects of life also. Admiration is given to the ones that are fragile in adapting to his lifestyle. God deals with his servants on a personal level and on a one to one basis.

As a child there is room for growth and expansion of the body, mind, and soul; all in which belongs to God. There are many levels of maturation to be reached in order to perceive a true spiritual development with him. God assesses the character and personality children have, in order to determine the role he has for them in life. It allows God to decipher how much they should account for while being here on earth. Seeking the one’s most vulnerable, because they will be more willing to accept and abide by his will and his ways. But Jesus said, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthews 19:14).

The one’s that are chosen are carefully handpicked by this higher power we know as God. It’s an honor and privilege to be one of his honorees. As a child grows, he or she has to go through a learning process. The first important factor to learn is getting to know who you are as an individual. Knowing who you are as a person is important to understanding what your purpose is in life, allowing self more time to get better acquainted with yourself as a person. In order to be used by the Almighty God, there has to be some type of understanding present. During the learning process of a child, good behavior is acknowledged through rewards. The opposite of good behavior, is addressed by a series of punishments. When good behavior is exhibited, it becomes easier for God to use you in his own way. He stretches forth his mighty hand to accept you for who you are. On the other hand, when punishment is due, he has to reexamine the individual correcting the situation to get things back in order again. "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him." (Proverbs 22:15).

Just those few minutes God spent working out such a simple problem; caused a delay in preparing you for the bigger downfalls that come with living. A forgiving God over looks the limitations brought upon by self, therefore continuing with his plan. There’s a plan for everyone, not just one individual. Admiration is given to whoever deserves to be admired. During the time of accepting you, he’s working at a steady pace to find out
