The book narrates the relationships he had with his family members, the rubber estate environment, and the school he studied in.
The end of the book gives the message to the Malaysian Indian youths that they should also persevere to continue their studies and be a success. They should not give any excuse for being school dropouts. They should be good to their family, community, and the country.
Apparow Sannasai
Dr. Apparow Sannasai(PhD) who at the age of 65 got his PhD after retiring from the Teaching Service at the age of 55 in Malaysia. He comes from a poor family whose parents were rubber tappers in a rubber plantation. His journey begins with the demise of his late father (1966) when he was 15 years old. It took a long time of 27 years to pursue his education on a part time basis to obtain his first degree, his masters and PhD whilst working as a teacher. His relentless efforts to fulfill his parent’s desire to see him obtain a doctorate only materialized in the year 2016. He is now proud to announce to the world of his journey of life via this book, “The Rubber Tapper’s son”
