    CHAPTER 1

    Aarav’s fifth birthday

Extreme transcendental brightness, which had no beginning, no ending. This enchanted brightness was spreading numerous infinitesimal rays everywhere. Transcendental music vibrated everywhere; all liberated rays were impalpable and they were organized in an incredible pattern according to the vibration of the music. A child of almost five years old with a golden feather was trying to hold some intangible rays; he was flying behind these rays and following the pattern made by them. Suddenly, rays travelled at a high speed towards somewhere. The child also flied behind them and after some time he reached between the many large edifices of gold. There were many types of incredibly designed golden edifices and between them there was a golden sphere revolving on its own axis. The child looked at everything in amazement, and suddenly he observed that those rays which he was chasing went inside the golden sphere. He wanted to touch that sphere. As he forwarded his small hand, he felt that someone was observing him from behind. He turned, there was no one. He flew around the revolving golden sphere. After revolving he came back in the same place from where he started. Suddenly, he observed a mysterious shade, which was passing between the golden edifices. He moved toward that shade. Immediately he observed that the shade was expending everywhere in between the golden edifices. The shade had thousands of arm-like structures and many heads. These hands motioned toward him and he was very scared. He flew away from that shade. He realized that the shadow chased him to capture him from every direction. He was hiding between the edifices of gold but now he was completely surrounded by the shadow and there was immense darkness. It was very hard to move anywhere. He was very scared and cried.

‘Oh! Dad help me, save me, this devil will take me away from you forever, please help me,’ he cried.

His dad turned the light on. It was very small room, beautifully decorated with ancient wooden carvings. Aarav was trembling in his bed and crying. His dad, Manav, came quickly close to him and lifted him in his strong arms.

    ‘Oh son, what happened?’

Aarav opened his eyes, and hugged his father.

‘Thank you dad, you saved me again, you are my super hero. You always save me from that devil.’

‘Oh dear, why do these dreams come to you?’ Manav was tense. ‘Okay now I am sleeping with you, we will fight together with that devil.’

    ‘Okay, Dad.’

Aarav slept close to his father. He was trying to hide his head in his father’s chest. Manav switched off the light which was attached to the bed.

Human instinct never changed. Desire to rule the family, society, states, country and world remained the same from the beginning. This desire separated humans from their supreme power. This greed for ruling increased day by day and they also wanted to rule the nature. People are enslaved by their own kind. The difference between them was just that one side have control on nature and other side was dependent on nature. They were super humans, they could control everything in nature like water cycles, vital process like photosynthesis, even they could control the sun.

People were highly developed in all the ways and one side, on the other hand there was darkness. They looked like primitive farmers doing hard work in their farms by using high technological equipment’s. These farmers thought that super humans were their lords and worshiped them to receive their blessing. At the end of every season, they sacrificed their total crop production to the lord, as a result they received sunlight, rain, and oxygen, everything necessary for farms and food for them and their family. Like every day, this was the time for the distribution of food, farmers stood in a long que for food. Manav stood in queue, waiting his turn. His dark eyebrows were frowned and looked like he was in big tension. He was lost somewhere in himself.

‘What happened mate, today you look too stressed?’ his friend behind him asked.

‘Tomorrow is my son’s fifth birthday,’ Manav replied. His throat was dry and eyes were wet.

‘Oh! Mate, it’s not in anyone’s hand, these are laws and we must follow them, good luck mate.’

They were talking. Huge fat, bald, food keepers yelled loudly, ‘Hurry up, hurry up night is near.’

It was turn of Manav. He took out a walnut cake and other edible things. His son Aarav liked walnuts from very young age, when his son started to speak he could recognize it. Everyone took food and walked toward to their home.

It was Aarav’s home, made up of wood and was very beautiful. It was preparation of his fifth birthday. He was very happy and just waiting for his father because he promised him to tell a secret story tonight. Instead of happiness there was mourning expressions on the face of his mother, Evya, and his father, Manav. Aarav was waiting with curiosity but Manav and his wife didn’t want to see this day. Finally, Manav arrived home. Suddenly all sunlight was gone. Evya lit the candle and asked Manav, ‘How was your day?’

    ‘Not too bad,’ he sighed.

‘Oh dear.’ A tear came out of her eye, her throat got filled, she was not able to speak anything. Suddenly Aarav entered.

‘Hi dad, how are you, I missed you badly today.’

‘I missed you too dear.’ Manav hugged him tightly.

‘Dad, tomorrow I am going to turn five and every time I asked about my sister, where she gone, you promised me that today you will tell me some secret story, I want to know where is she and what’s that secret story?’ Aarav had some hope that he would hear something which must have some great excitement.

A feeling of deep grief was clear on face of Manav, he squinted towards evya. She gesticulated by bowing her face.

‘The time has come which we never wanted, we can’t do anything Manav, tonight you have to tell him everything.’

Aarav was curious and felt a little uncomfortable,

‘Why you aren’t happy on my birthday like last year?’

‘Son, I love you so much and I can’t live without you.’

‘Dad, I am not going anywhere like my sister, I will stay always with you.’

‘Oh son! I wish it could be possible.’ He sighed.

‘What is this, you made me sad, if there is any surprise like last year I don’t want that, make me clear what’s happening?’

Last year Manav arranged a surprise party on his birthday in which all his friend came and enjoyed a lot. He got ample gifts at that party.

‘You have to listen to this calmly my son, I didn’t organize any party today, tomorrow is that day when soldiers of the lord will come and they might take you far away from us like your sister.’ He got tenser and too many wrinkles emerged on his face.

‘I am not getting what are you saying, Dad.’ Now enthusiasm on the face of Aarav diminished.

‘You are too young to understand this but I have to tell you some truth.’ He squinted at Evya.

‘Aarav, we love you but we don’t want to lose you.’ Tears start flowing out of her eyes.

‘Please make me clear what’s going on here?’ Aarav asked with a heavy voice.

‘Dear this is law of our place, our lord think that by the age of five, the brain of a child get developed. They measure their intellectuality and if they found high intelligence level, they take them with themselves, same thing happened with your sister, they took her too.’

Aarav had some faded memories of his sister. He didn’t remember too much about her because he was so young. Fear of separation from family seemed clear on his little cute face.

‘Than what they will do with us?’ Dim light of candles and darkness all over the room made him more unhappy. His light brown eyes continuously stared at his father, he wanted an answer.

Manav sighed and unfurled the truth that he knew.

‘Our government wants to help people, they think there is some hidden talent in our children which they can use for betterment of our world. You are future, if you have good ability to understand our world you can help everyone. Maybe someday you can become lord of any department of All-doer.’ ‘Who are lords?’ Aarav asked.

‘Dear, they control our world and because of them we are surviving.’ Evya came near to Aarav.

‘I am not getting anything, Mum?’

‘They provide us water by rain, sunlight, even they made everything present in this world.’ She caressed Aarav.

‘So how I can be a lord?’

‘Son, they will take you to the school, where they will teach you everything, I will be happy if you get selected but after that they will not allow you to meet us,’ Manav said.

‘Why, Dad? This is not fair.’

‘Oh dear it’s all for saving humanity.’ Evya looked in to the eyes of Aarav and held his head with both palms.

‘Let’s celebrate your birthday dear.’ Manav took some boxes from his bag.

    ‘Your favorite’

‘Walnut cake’ there was mixed emotion in his voice.

They wore round caps and funny masks and lit five candles on the cake. Aarav blew all the candles with trembling lips and hugged his parents tightly. Everyone had wet eyes. They loved and caressed him as much they can because they knew that these were last moments with their child. Aarav slept in the arms of his mother.

    CHAPTER 2

    The convocation day

‘S omeone attacked us, run Aarav run,’ Evya shouted in scared voice.

Aarav opened his eye and looked outside his window; a big monster was there. He destroyed everything and killed many people. Big red eyes, round wide nostrils, long dark hairs and fire was coming out from his mouth, which burnt many houses. He had a big hammer in his hand by which he bashed many people. Blood scattered everywhere. Now he came towards Aarav’s house, his mum and dad yelled in scared voice but everything was so quick that he was not able to understand what to do.

‘You have to save yourself to save humanity, do something to stop him,’ his father said. Suddenly the devil broke the wall of Aarav’s house and entered inside.

‘You little mice will save humanity, look at you and look at me,’ the monster yelled with a heavy voice. He burnt his house, his parents yelled for help.

‘No one can save you from me, humanity will be lost,’ the monster laughed. He held Aarav from the neck and put pressure on his throat. His breath blocked and body trembled very badly. He tried to get rid from devil hold, suddenly he opened his eyes.

‘What the hell, again scary dream.’ He held his forehead with palm and relaxed himself. He squinted on his watch. ‘Oh God!’ He ran rapidly towards the washroom. It was 8 a.m. and this was convocation day at school. After the day he was selected to Warriewood Franklin School, his life changed but he always remembers his parents badly. In thirteen years of time-period he became a smart and dashing boy. His talent was famous in school, He had his old memories alive in his mind. He did not remember what happened after last night with his parents because when he woke up he was in the school, at that time he was very young fearful and shy child, always refused to talk anyone. But later he opened himself and became the most popular student. He found his sister and made many friends. His best friend was a beautiful and smart girl called Eve. Thirteen years passed very fast in learning and understanding his world. He had a great interest in geoengineering and physics so he opted it as his main stream and now he seeks a career in this field.

Eve was waiting for him in convocation hall. The hall was decorated very well. Everyone was in their farewell dresses, long navy-blue color coats with same colored big round caps.

‘Did you see Aarav?’ Eve asked one of his friends.

    ‘I just arrived,’ he replied.

Suddenly Professor Deloris entered the beautifully decorated stage.

‘May I have your attention please, stand up on your place in the honor of our honorable, benevolent lord of lords, King Zingolba. Everyone stood up.

He was a big crowned man with a long aristocratic suit and long white beard. He entered the stage with ten of his half human and half robotic servants. Every servant was taking care of the king.

‘You should tell them to sit on their knees but it’s okay now, you have to pay for your sins on the gate of heaven,’ the king said to Professor Deloris, his face was full of vanity.

He knew about the bad behavior of the king so what king said didn’t affected him. He continued his speech.

‘Now our great king will address you.’ He passed the microphone to the king.

‘Dear students today you completed your education to serve other lords, other lords serve this planet according to my order, and all in all you are serving me. I hope that I will not hear any complaints from anyone against you. I want discipline in my planet, you have to follow all my laws.’ Everyone’s face bowed onto the ground.

At the same time Aarav tried to enter inside hall with full dress code.

‘Who is that disobeying guy coming later than me, come on the stage.’

Aarav bowed his head and moved to the stage.

    ‘Who are you?’

    ‘Sir, I’m Aarav,’ he replied.

    ‘Why are you late?’

‘My lord, sorry for interruption, he is Aarav the most talented student of this batch, he won the title of best student of this batch,’ Deloris said.

‘It’s okay, Deloris you will pay for your sins on the gate of heaven, and I have too many important works instead presenting award for this fool students, let’s go.’ He squinted at his servants and went out of hall with anger. Immense silence fell on the hall. Deloris continuously stared at Aarav.

‘What you did, my boy, made him unhappy.’

‘Sorry sir, I was stuck in my scary dream.’ Aarav looked him for apology.

‘It’s your old excuse, Aarav, anyway congratulations you won the best student award for this year, take your award, and I want to meet you after farewell.’

    ‘Okay, sir’ Aarav replied.

The headmaster presented an award to Aarav, everyone stood up and gave a big applaud for Aarav.

‘This award is for my parents, my sister, Neer, and for my best friend, Eve.’ Aarav came between all friends, everyone hugged him and congratulated him. This award matters him a lot because now he can directly work with All-doer’s biggest geo engineers as which was his biggest dream. Party began with some wines, dancing and delicious food.

‘My dear students it is last day in the school for you and me too.’ Everyone was silent. ‘Tomorrow the school council will elect new principal, thanks for everyone who became part of my journey.’ Deloris concluded the party.

It was dark night and in the streets there was little brightness because of the solar street lights. The atmosphere was very good, everything was well controlled and maintained by the lords. The temperature was windy and humid. Laughing sound was coming in the way, Aarav and his friends were remembering the jovial moment of their school days.

‘Oh that was the terrible sound’ Mack said. He was the roommate of Aarav from beginning of school to eight years. The most hated moment by everyone was morning exercise siren.

‘No mate, more terrible was that big green stick of head master’ Aarav said and showed his hands. ‘Really mate, I know very well, I got many times that stick,’ Jolly, one of the friends of Aarav said. He showed his hand with a painful expression. Everyone laughed. This was unofficial protocol of this school, if someone will miss any morning exercise they will get punishment from headmaster. Headmaster used to beat their hand by big green stick.

‘Why are you guys talking about my father?’ Eve asked. She was the daughter of Principal Deloris. Everyone remained quiet for a moment and suddenly they laughed loudly. She smiled and squinted towards Aarav.

‘So how are you feeling today dear?’ she held his hand and pulled him away from that place.

‘I am very happy but missing my parent, if they would be here they must be proud on me,’ Aarav replied.

‘Oh, dear we really don’t have any control on the laws, you know I am not real daughter of my father, he adopted me,’ Eve says.

‘You never told me that before,’ Aarav said, a little angry.

‘I’m really sorry but I never got that moment when we could discuss it,’ Eve apologized.

‘No worries, so where are your parents?’ he asked with curiosity.

‘I don’t know, when I came in my conscious, he was nurturing me so, he is my parent’ she replied like she didn’t care about her real parents.

‘So, this is last night in school, where school’s administration is sending you?’ he asked.

‘As I did study in Archaeology, they said me join a team at Kalemon digging for some ancient things but before I have to go Aerotopia to learn controlling professional Aircraft’ Eve replied.

‘Oh really, I also have to go Aerotopia for same purpose and after that Kalemon mountains, to join a team of Lord Hrocer, they are building a huge castle,’ Aarav yelled happily.

‘So we are going to the same place.’ She was also very happy.

They hugged tightly, and they felt something unique at this moment. A wave of love appeared in air, she put his palms on neck of Aarav and slowly their lips attracted each other and their eyes were closed. They stayed like this for a few minutes.

‘We will stay together,’ Eve smiled and kissed him again. ‘I love you.’

‘I love you too, dear,’ Aarav said. Under the dim light of street, they kissed, he held her from the back and her arms were on his shoulders. They loved each other for a long time but they never got chance to express it.

‘Let’s go to your home,’ he said.

‘Oh, my god, you are so clever, you want to come my room directly after the first kiss, you lustful guy.’

‘Aww you have a dirty mind, I am coming to meet your dad.’

‘I am sorry, actually my all friends told me boys are too clever.’

‘No worries at all,’ he said. They both reached her beautiful round-roofed house.

    CHAPTER 3

    Emergency meeting of lords

All the lords of All-doer came for an emergency meeting at Parliament house. There was bright light in this hall. All members were sitting around a big round shaped table with beautiful dark brown dresses and all have different kind of crown which was showing that they belong to different departments. The lords had no power, they had to work under the command of the king. They were just head of their departments only. There were many big highly advanced machines in All-doer which were operated by scientists under the command of lord. Like lords of Air looked after total collection of oxygen from trees and their consumption by people. In this department, all gases were collected in a big chamber by suction points everywhere in All-doer. In big chamber gasses got separated from one another. Oxygen was mainly stored and all other gasses were released in atmosphere as per need. Lord of air also provide some oxygen to the department of lords of rain where they mixed oxygen with hydrogen and make clouds. These clouds were released in environment by various tubes fitted everywhere in this world. After that, lord of fire cooled down the temperature by condensation of air which caused rain in All-doer. There was no river or sea in this place so only lords of rain provide the water for people. Even lords of sun have control on sun light, he can control nuclear reaction in the sun so nights and days came as per his sleeping and waking time. Therefore, every living and non- living factors of ecosystem were under the control of lords but they all had to work under the command of King of All-doer. Everyone was waiting for him. All of them were seemed like their breath went out of their lungs. Fear expression were clearly expressed from their faces. Few of them hold their forehead by their palms. Even some of them getting swatted in this air- conditioned room. Problem seemed too big but as usual king entered with his servants in hall very late, all the lords stood up.

‘Why have you disturbed me? Don’t waste my time I have too many things to do,’ the king said, full of vanity. He sat on his throne and after that everyone took their place. One of the lord sighed.

‘My lord, that time has come which was a nightmare for our ancestors.’ His lips were trembling. ‘Someone attacked us, don’t worry and my soldiers are ready for that.’

‘My lord problem is that, some of the astrologists are saying that after few months we gone strike with unknown thing in this universe and we all get annihilated with all-doer,’ the lord said in a fearful voice.

‘Ha-Ha, again that myth, when you all will amend yourselves,’ the king said with sarcastic way.

All the lords squinted at each other and gesticulated like what a fool they had as a king. The other lord stood up. ‘Oh lord after this rumor everyone are getting nervous, if people will come to know this, they will go out of control,’ he said generously.

‘We have to find some solution my lord we should think about to save our world,’ the member next to the king said.

‘Take all of them to the gate of heaven, who are spreading this rumor and if anyone went out of control, shoot at sight,’ the king said in a heavy voice.
