My Best Friend Drank the Magic Potion I Had Been Saving for a Well-paying Client and... is Now a Woman!?

A big puff of purple smoke covered Lillie’s vision for a moment. Once it disappeared, it didn’t take long before Lillie realised what had happened. Lillie’s best friend had suddenly… turned into a girl!? 

The handsome twenty-year old that had been there just a few moments earlier had been replaced by a pretty woman. Compared to before, she was now less muscular, her face was rounder, her chest was slightly larger, her black hair was… about the same really long length and just as amazing as before, and her private parts… Lillie blushed as she thought of what might have happened to those. 

Before this sudden turn of events, Lillie had been working on a new potion. That was the kind of witch she was: the kind that was really, really, good at making potions of all kinds, and really bad at everything else. This particular potion wasn’t the kind of thing Lillie usually would make, but it had been requested by a particularly well-paying client, so she hadn’t been able to refuse. 

It was supposed to be a potion for helping women increase their sexual stamina, but…

You can’t just come in and drink these things! They’re merchandise! Things that I’ll sell and earn tons and tons of money from!

Sorry…

"Anyway, monetary loss aside, you do know these things have side effects, right? Read the freaking label before you drink anything! Wait, no, no, before you even touch anything… no, before you even look at it! Though I guess it’s too late now that you found out about the side effects the hard way…"

Side effects? I don’t notice any…

"Except the whole BEING TURNED INTO A GIRL thing, maybe? It’s permanent, by the way. I can’t change you back. You realise that, right?"

That’s supposed to be a side effect? I drank it because I read the label and it said something about turning any guy that drinks it into a pretty woman and… well, I thought that sounded neat, you know?

You wanted to be a girl?

"Yeah! Of course! Isn’t it just so much better in, like, every single way? I’ve only had the body I’ve dreamed of for so long for less than five minutes so far, and it already feels amazing! How could anyone not want this? And you said, it was permanent? Right? Right, right, right? That means you can’t try to change me back, hehe!"

Lillie couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Had she really known her best friend that badly? She… certainly was pretty, though. But what should Lillie call her friend now? Her old name didn’t really seem like it would fit very well anymore, so…

Well, what do I call you now, then? Something tells me your old name won’t work anymore. 

Hmm… good point. What about Joanne? It’s a cool name, and nothing like my old one. In other words, it’s perfect!

You seem awfully excited about this, you know.

Well, you know… or now, actually, you don’t know, but I was transgender anyway… so this saves me quite a lot of trouble in regards to medical stuff, you know? Besides, this is also easier than coming out to everyone and doing it the hard way! If anyone asks, I can just blame it on the potion now, with hopefully probably almost zero risk they’ll start hating me for being who I am for absolutely no reason whatsoever!

Joanne was practically bouncing on the spot while talking, which also made… certain parts… jiggle a bit, Lillie realised. Trying to ignore that, or at least not look at it too directly, Lillie instead did her best to commit the new name to memory.
