This curated collection comes from stacks of handwritten thoughts, poems and even original song lyrics that I've held onto as my only road back in time. Ambition (Prayer – 8/27/2006)

Jehovah,

I am writing to you my greatest ambitions to become a successful author, singer, and designer of beautiful things. I need your help to get there. Please show me the way to being discovered and to making my ambitions my reality. All I want to do is sing using my voice and talents to re-shape the world. I want to become part of a growing movement in this world for true equality and positive change. Please help me to move mountains and overcome the obstacles that are in the way of my path to success. Though, not only in my life but, the path of the world as well first here at home then translating into a full global view. I’d start by fighting homelessness & starvation here in America. I have always felt that one should help out their own before going off to help others. So, please GOD set me up on the main stage and I vow to use my music & riches to make a strong statement as well as to propel a positive and helpful view to this nation, Thus, helping us to help ourselves and others. I know you know my heart and you know my promise is just. I am here begging you to help me realize my one true goal above all others. Please send help, let your angels fly, and aid me in this undertaking. I am ready, please show me the way. Light my path so that I can follow in the path of greatness. Let it be your will & my prayers will be answered. I do understand that what I am asking for is not only a true gift but a real curse as well. I know without it I cannot survive although with it my life would be forever changed. There would be nothing sacred or private, every move watched and dissected. Please Lord know that I am fully aware of what it is that I ask of you. The possibilities are endless and I know the full weight of the consequences of this prayer coming to fruition. I have been told in the past to be careful what you hope, wish, and pray for as you may just receive it. Well, I have been hoping, wishing, and praying all my life for this and I still want it more than anything anyone could ever offer me. Every day that passes by I want this more and more. Jehovah, there has been so much hurt, death, and devastation in my life. When will I get the chance to shine? I am never the first choice or the second nor the third. I need this to show everyone
