FOREWORD
By the author’s husband, Mr. Lawrence Kwabena Ansah
Among many important benefits derived from hearing or reading good sermons is the stimulus to think more clearly about God and His ways. This book is more sermon-like than an actual sermon. Because of how it engages the Scriptures and seeks to apply Scripture to real-life questions, the book functions like a good sermon for all, especially daughters in the ministry of our LORD Jesus Christ.
The King’s Daughter is a great goal. This book talks more about some key areas of godly womanhood that have slipped from today’s culture, such as women’s role as helpers for their husbands and examples of godliness for our daughters. Exploring the timeless wisdom of Proverbs 31, Aline reveals how you can become a woman of true beauty; a woman who desires to honour God in all that she says and does – and become a tremendous blessing to everyone around her.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30
READ THIS BOOK. Read it prayerfully. Read it thoroughly. Refreshing, encouraging and convicting all in one. Aline does a beautiful job of exhorting women to live lives worthy of the gospel. Enjoy as you read.
Introduction
This book is for daughters of the Most High God, the daughters who fear the Lord and the ones who have the desire to do right in the sight of the Lord, the ones whose hearts’ desire is to love and serve the Lord.
I PRAY THAT THE CHAPTERS IN THIS BOOK WILL ENCOURAGE YOU AND WILL GIVE YOU MORE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING.
The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A daughter who fears the Lord is a wise daughter; all starts in and through the fear of the Lord. This kind of daughter loves the LORD and she knows her true identity; this kind of daughter has faith in God; this kind of daughter is obedient; this kind of daughter is prayerful and loves the Word of God; this kind of daughter serves the Lord; this kind of daughter seeks to be and to do God’s will; this kind of daughter is led and influenced by the Holy Spirit; this kind of daughter believes in the supernatural; and finally this kind of daughter is filled with the presence of God and experiences His power.
As you are reading this book right now, my prayer is that the spirit of the fear of the Lord will be imparted in you and you will become A NEW DAUGHTER, a God-fearing daughter for that matter, and all things will work together for your good.
One day, I was attending a women’s seminar and they were preaching on the fear of the Lord, saying so many powerful things. I was so blessed and astonished at the teachings and I asked the Holy Spirit how one can walk in the fear of the Lord. And the Holy Spirit said to me that it all starts with the love of God in you. He continued by telling me that, if you truly love God, you will fear Him and will do His Word, and you will always want to be pleasing unto Him. Then the Holy Spirit continued and said to me: that’s why the scripture in Romans 8 v 28 says, …and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose
(KJV).
Those who love God do fear Him and do His will and all things can only work together for their good in the end. Amazing!
My sister in the Lord, it is about time you feared the Lord, because this is your key to the door of your accomplishment in this life and in the life to
