INTRODUCTION
Tsveti Potchekanska is a Bulgarian musician and theatre writer and director. In Three Colours of The Soul, she recounts three great protagonists of 20th century Russian culture, united by a paradoxical and contradictory condition of privilege, through being poets, and oppression and persecution by the political powers, through being poets! Each is presented in a story of intense moments which follow one after the other in the minimalist form of short drama, creating a single, unique narrative.
Directly from the poetry of each protagonist, the Bulgarian writer manages to distil their thoughts, skilfully transforming them into words – logos – and each poet magically expresses herself...
