    The Invitation

    2 Peter 3:9

    The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    The most important act of faith is salvation. God does not want you to perish but he wants you to come into the salvation that was prepaid for you by Jesus Christ. If you know that you are unsaved, or you are unsure of the status of your salvation, today is the day of salvation.

    John 3:16

    For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

    Romans 10:9-10

    "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation."

    So, what will you do? It’s yours if you will take it today. Do not make the mistake of listening to an evil spirit of procrastination about this matter.

    2 Corinthians 6:2

    "For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

    Backlash

    Chapter Separator

    I grabbed the side of my head, two days after publishing Trigger Warning. The expected backlash . . . I yawned and began to pray. Yet this one was persistent. Why? The answer lies in the cause. Ask any deliverance minister if ministry is cheap. Truthfully, if you are seeking attention there are a lot of safer and more lucrative ways than praying against demons. Demons who may turn around and attack you and your family for your efforts. Charles Spurgeon had it right, if you can do anything other than ministry, do it. There is a cost that comes with ministry that is rarely spoken. Please know that this is not meant to complain. Instead, it’s to paint a picture of the weight of these words. I wouldn’t waste your time telling you that your broken pieces can be healed if I had never seen it done. I would not bother to tell you that I understand what it feels like to be more crushed than broken if I had never reached a place where I was more broken than healed.

    How do I know you can be delivered? I know because I have had to wrestle for my very life and those of my family members. No, it’s not cheap, but you are not alone.

    Follow my reasoning here. The fact that this book exists proves that you are not alone. It stands to reason that if you are not alone, then you are not defective. If you were defective, you would be the only one with broken pieces. I can attest to the fact that you are far from the only person living with broken pieces. Further, the fact that you have broken pieces in no way means that you are broken. You were created by a holy (complete) God. You have to believe that God wants you holy and not broken. God has an image for you. He wants you to be solid, steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Will you join me in that vision? Will you be made whole?

    In another book, I asked if you heard the Lord calling you to be made whole. The question remains—will you be made whole?

    Let’s review the famous hymn written by William J. Kirkpatrick. Pay special attention to the third stanza.

    1. Hear the footsteps of Jesus,

    He is now passing by,

    Bearing balm for the wounded,

    Healing all who apply;

    As He spake to the suff’rer

    Who lay at the pool,

    He is saying this moment,

    Wilt thou be made whole?

    Refrain

    Wilt thou be made whole?

    Wilt thou be made whole?

    O come, weary suff’rer,

    O come, sin-sick soul;

    See the life-stream is flowing,

    See the cleansing waves roll,

    Step into the current and thou shalt be whole.

    2. ’Tis the voice of that Savior,

    Whose merciful call

    Freely offers salvation

    To one and to all;

    He is now beck’ning to Him

    Each sin-tainted soul,

    And lovingly asking,

    Wilt thou be made whole? [Refrain]

    3. Are you halting and struggling,

    Overpowr’d by your sin,

    While the waters are troubled

    Can you not enter in?

    Lo, the Savior
