About this ebook

‘The Poet’s Atlas: Inner Journeys of the Writer’ is the fifth book in the ‘PURE MIND Series’ of wisdom quotes – a collection of six consecutive books aiming to shed perceptual light on the rich and layered nature of humanity, exploring both the surfaces and interiors of our day-to-day lives, and beckoning towards a deeper convergence with our internal consciousness.

These insights speak to the reader in many situations, offering simple philosophical perspectives on personal relationships, external world affairs, as well as the modern manifestation of ‘inner’ solutions to our human experiences and challenges. The author accords a range of both subtle and palpable answers to the many random questions we may ask ourselves, and confers a variety of creative and authentic responses to these internal dialogues and searches.
‘The Poet’s Atlas’ stipulates a map of accessibility or an inward portal for revelling between our silences and speech. It is where we may engage virtual visitors, make alternative references, and retract or expand our manner of thinking and conceptualising. To produce a satisfying literary work is a process often met with both moments of elation and periods of frustration or ‘block’. The creative act is a dedicated pilgrimage – one in which we both strive and attain our goals by following an inner blueprint. However the literary path is not always fluid and the way not so apparent. It will encompass obstacles and inner friction, making it difficult for us to access, develop or utilise our inner skills. It is the consolidative aspect of self-analysis which helps us to move beyond projection into action. Sometimes this requires a small shift in focus, a modifying angle or perceptual slant, in order to draw fresh observation from an internal clash or amplified conflict. We ourselves, become an equally sophisticated and captivating human story.
