To my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for Your grace and mercy that kept me. Thank you for the challenges in my life that have drawn me closer to you. Thank you for using me to fulfill Your purpose for Your glory; in Jesus’ name, Amen.
This book is dedicated to my wife, Melissa, and my son, KJ. Thank you, Melissa, for standing in the gap for me, for sticking with me through good times and bad times, for supporting me in my endeavors and helping me see them through. You have indeed been a blessing to me. I am proud of the Proverbs 31 woman you have become.
KJ, you have been the rock and the glue in this family. You have always been the voice of reason and have remained consistent in your faith as you have grown into a fine young man. I am genuinely proud of you and everything you have accomplished. Thank you for being my right-hand man; thank you for always having my back and looking out for your dad.
I want to acknowledge my father, Kenneth Curry Jr., who raised my sister Camille and me as a single father for most of our childhood. You taught me how to be a man. You showed me, by example, how to work hard and take care of your family, how to be a leader, and a responsible adult. Thank you for always being on the other end of that phone call, and there when I needed you.
I want to acknowledge my pastor, Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr., whose vision and teachings have enabled me to know and believe the Word of God. Thank you for being my spiritual leader. Thank you for being a caring and forgiving pastor. Thank you for your words of encouragement and your support.
Thank you to all our family and friends who have spoken a word of encouragement, said a prayer, been a blessing to us, or just been present in our lives. Thank you all for your love and support!
God Bless.
Foreword
The strongest man is the man who lives a surrendered life to Jesus Christ. This is the story of Kristan David Curry. But it was not always that way. I met Kris over ten years ago. He was a prodigal man who went to the far country
in search of life and fulfillment apart from God. It didn’t work. It never does. Kris learned that when a man promotes God’s agenda, God promotes the man. His new book, Turbulence on the Wings of
