Hamilton's Poetic Essays On Life
()
About this ebook
We came into the world with nothing, and we leave the same way. We can hold on to Jesus, He's a warm home on a cold and rainy day. Our life is marked in stages And when we pass away, We enter the final stage of life Where only love holds sway. A mountain, with the passage of time, Will simply fade away, and so will the universe, So the scientists say. Love is the only part of our reality That's strong enough To last eternally. The end of this short life Is the beginning of an eternal one, Given by the love of God Through his only begotten son. If they ever came close to figuring it all out With only one mystery left to see, The last one to contemplate will be Jesus walking on the water of the Sea of Galilee. He created this earth we live on, For him a simple feat. Small wonder the water would become Pavement under his feet. ""Michael Hamilton Excerpt from the poem, "Transition"

The Image of GOD
Nestled in an arm of the Milky Way
Is a planet we call Earth
An island in space-time,
Favorable to life, that gave us birth.
That life now strives to understand
The universe and its time at hand.
The universe’s birth was an instant in time,
The scientists say,
And in the future,
It will end some day.
A black hole is a tear
In the fabric of space-time
According to the calculations
Of Albert Einstein.
Time is the mitigation
Of the universe’s propensity,
Using ultimate gravity
To reclaim
its primal unity
The journey of life
Is a microcosm of the universe,
With just a few differences
That make it go in reverse.
On any journey
You must depart then arrive.
However, on life’s journey
You arrive then depart.
It might be confusing
If it ended there,
But with life you depart
To
