Aquil Roberts

I am, first and foremost, a son of the true and living God. A disciple dedicated to following the Lord Jesus. Born in 1986 to Glen & Patricia Roberts in Miami, Florida, as the oldest of their children. I accepted Christ in February of 2005 while attending Florida International University. 5 years later, after repenting from the enemy's distractions and schemes, I received confirmation on who would be my wife would be. I married Charlene Lovett in April of 2012, and we've been happily married ever since. The Lord is the glue that has kept us together in truth and love. Currently, we are parents of 5 and owners of InLight Glory LLC. I am also an overseer for "The Process" Curriculum. In this curriculum, my wife and I coined the term "Meditate on this." The " Meditate on this" section in the curriculum encourages disciples to take time to think about the word of God. I've been working on the "Meditate On This" book for more than 2 years, and I am forever grateful for the honor of bringing it to fruition. I give all glory to God for giving me the strength to complete the book. I sincerely hope every reader grows closer to Jesus when studying the passages presented in the book.

    About The Author

    Introduction

When purchasing this book, you are not purchasing the scriptures quoted. You are compensating me for the research I’ve done and the study composition I present throughout this book.

This book is not for reading or breezing through. It is for study and reference. Let’s start by looking at definitions for the word Meditate.

    Meditate

    Strong’s Lexicon:

    Hebrew:

Hagah(haw-gaw' [1]): to moan, growl, utter, muse, mutter, meditate, devise, plot, speak; to roar, growl, groan; to utter, speak; to meditate, devise, muse, imagine.

Siyach(see'-akh [2]): to put forth, mediate, muse, commune, speak, complain, ponder, sing; to complain; to muse, meditate upon, study, ponder; to talk, sing, speak

Suwach(soo'-akh [3]): to meditate, muse, commune, speak, complain

    Greek:

Meletaō( [4]): to care for, attend to carefully, practice; i.e. to devise, contrive.;used of the Greeks of the meditative pondering and the practice of orators and rhetoricians

    Meditate

    Webster’s Dictionary:

to engage in contemplation or reflection

to engage in mental exercise (such as concentration on one's breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness

to focus one's thoughts on : reflect on or ponder over

to plan or project in the mind

    Google:

think deeply or focus one's mind for a period of time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation.

think deeply or carefully about (something).

    plan mentally; consider.

Here I begin highlighting the mnemonic scriptures I’ve compiled over the years. Take the time to study each excerpt of scripture and respond to the challenges, applications, and engagements provided. Your response to each passage will reveal where you are with the Lord and your willingness to respond to the teaching detailed in scripture. Follow up each passage with journaling to better detail your progression through this book. I believe your enjoyment of this book will multiply if you can partake in this book with fellow believers.

My hope is that your faith grows throughout the weeks or months it takes to finish this study. I cannot express enough, the importance of taking your time through each passage. Feel free to share all of the scriptures listed with fellow believers so that they may also be blessed by the word of God.

    ~Stay Blessed.
