What are true tears that heal?
the tears of love are a balm to heal, shed

Jesus wept! God weeps!
we shed tears over our carnal condition
love that heals comes from one who heals all
His tears heal us, purify, sanctify
a woman washed Jesus’ feet with

s
she was forgiven of her grievous sins
sins foisted upon her by society
I cried when Spock died
every time I watch Spock die
a piece of me dies too
I cried when Old Yeller died
others laugh when I shed
t

r
s
they don’t feel the part of me that dies
I’ll cry for you when you die
even if I must mingle
my tears with the rains of Heaven
I cry at movies
I cry because of what I feel
I cry because of connections
we are connected to God
this is why God sheds
t

r
s
He is connected to us
by His pure and perfect love
we are connected by love
we cry for each other
we shed
t
a
a
r
s
when we feel love
through our connections
to mourn with those who mourn
comfort those who need comfort
we shed healing
t

e
r
s
for one another
when you hurt, I feel you hurt
I know your pain as my own pain
I have empathy enough
to feel your pain
to share your pain
to shed
t

r
s
within my tears I find healing
I know you find healing too
connections tell me you do
these tears I shed for you
to water your parched soul
cause the garden of your heart to grow
fragrant blossoms to fill your life
comfort you amidst weeds of strife
so I shed tears only for you
to buoy you up when you are blue
to heal your life with my love’s

I shed tears when I hurt you
allow my tears to wash your pain away
I will take your pain into me
to set your soul free
with pure and perfect love, even charity
because I have charity for you, I shed

like Jesus, I weep, I weep for you
like Jesus, I must love with perfect love, so I shed
