Dare to Live
Introduction
The biggest mistakes in life are not what we do, but what we fail to do. In the chapters ahead are milestones of inevitable moments which have allowed me to grow. At the same time, I realized how God designed all of us on purpose to be who we are.
Taking the right road doesn't always happen by faith, sometimes we take the path that feels right, rather the one that will eventually get us there. When we fail, and sometimes we do, we realize that failure is a good thing.
God is trying to help us get it right. His undeserved generosity directs our steps through some of the most devastating events in our lives and no matter how hard we try to deter from the patterns of life, through His grace, we always get there. It’s nothing more than being able to feel the joy of knowing that our hurt is much more than merely a feeling. I have realized that while going through the many challenges of life, while we are trying to figure it out - He has already worked it out.
Sometimes, we get into the habit of letting life happen to us.
Instead of allowing what happens to be channeled into wisdom, strength, encouragement and understanding, we allow circumstances to push us into areas where we feel confined. When we began to realize that we can no longer do it alone, but need to trust God. He then stretches us to make us more versatile. He wants us to get into purpose!

Living After Losing
Finally, our "Aha " moment allows us to look back and realize that He had us all the time. While traveling what seems like an endless road towards God's purpose for our lives, the road simply becomes both challenging and rewarding. I truly believe that when we share who we are today versus our yesterday; it is our testimonies that show how God can bless us despite our journey. It equally shows us how He brings redemption and renewal into our life.
Let's build ourselves up, so when the storms of life come, our house will not fall.
The unfolding appetite of getting it right, after losing, is the new beginning of MY newly found journey as I witness God’s grace, mercy, and love.
God is my source and in Him I move, I breathe…

Dare to Live
Twenty-one years later, I still remember that morning so very clear…
Returning home from the hospital after giving birth to our son, we were all so excited with our new family and were ready to begin our new journey. My daughter was left to sleep over at my sister's house; my husband and I were home alone with our newborn and my stepson (from a previous marriage). Due to complications, I had delivered our son via an emergency C-section. My husband had to assist me whenever I needed to get up from lying down due to
