2.jpgThe Value
There’s a lot of significance placed upon a child’s birth
It seems we tend to forget or overlook that person’s worth
Everyone was brought to the Earth as seeds that were planted
Some of us are incapable of that which gets taken for granted
People don’t last forever, the clock started as soon as we entered the womb
And you should assume anyone’s life at any moment can end up in a tomb
The most recent words and encounter with a person may be the very last
You can’t change the past or place a broken heart into a plaster cast
Imagine the person you love just disappears tomorrow
You’ll feel hollow and look for a good place to wallow
Human relations isn’t my profession so this is entirely at your discretion
My suggestion is that you view everyone as your most prized possession
You can’t put a price on a human being because we’re priceless
But you can set them on a pedestal and call them your highness
You don’t have to be an expert to cherish, it’s okay to be a novice
Every moment matters because death will surely fulfill its promise
This should be carried out every day from sunrise to sunset like Ramadan
The task is simple and not exhausting compared to running a marathon
When you drive down memory lane I hope you avoid an awful avenue
Remember to value others in the same way you want them to value you
This World
This world is orchestrated for me to lose
It focuses on bad rather than good news
It has helped me see things with more than just my eyes
And over time made human nature not come as a surprise
This world tries to program you to follow a specific route
Like a parent raising their child, you know what I’m talking about
They want you to do this and that or get beat like its boxing bout
Don’t pout because
