Chapter 1
Child Molestation: A Brief History
Child molestation, also referred to as child sexual abuse, is a kind of child abuse where an adult or in some cases, an older child will abuse a child for the purpose of sexual stimulation. He or she, will engage in sexual activities with the child, sometimes by asking them and sometimes by pressuring them. Child molestation also includes indecent exposure or using children for producing child pornography.

Most of these cases involved children. This was a hundred years before American physicians discovered child
