    OMG! Im so glad that i’ve found this book! The author is really good at putting meaningful explanations into simpler words. I find it very easy to understand. Plus, the contents are also very straightforward and compact and easy to follow! The ingredients for the mealplans are also something you can easily find at the grocery store and the menus suggested are very simple and delicious!! Love it! Cant wait to cut more fats!

    Diet is not a one size fits all. You have to know what kind of diet works for you. Sirtfood diet promotes metabolism and decreases inflammation. However, one significant challenge in the diet is the constraint in the food that you can intake.

    Sirtfood diet this concentrates on the consumption of foods rich in sirtuins. Sirtuins is the term used to describe supercharged proteins found in the body that regulate various functions such as metabolism, inflammation, and immunity. However I found some issue about the conciseness of the context also there is an additional writing issue such as the use of hidden verb aka nominalization is a verb made into a noun. They often need extra words to make sense. Strong verbs are easier to read and use less words. Also there's a complex expression where possible you should use a simple word over a complex word. Simple words are easier to read and let your readers focus on your ideas. The use of passive voice. Active voice makes it clear who is doing what. In an active sentence, the person that is acting is the subject. Passive sentences obscure or omit the sentence subject. Use passive voice when the sentence object is more important than the subject. The active voice is generally easier to read. There is also a redundant expression. You should avoid redundant expressions when possible. A redundant expression has extra words that add no new meaning to the phrase. By eliminating redundant expressions you will make your writing more clear and concise. Nevertheless this pdf is helpful to those people who wants to follow the Sirtfood diet.

    I've lost track searching for the right diet that suits me especially that one of the things that I am passionate about in life is to eat. Reason why I love reading every page of this book.     Many will say that this book i interesting, but it's not just interesting that most people find it to be. It's interesting in a way that would make you shift your perspective with the meal you serve on the plate. This book in interesting that it isn't mainly focusing with the physical changes our bodies might attribute but rather is a though-provoking book about how to train your psychological health in order to attain a mindful control that would lead to the aim of a healthier and fitter bod.     I loved eating honestly, without considering if its healthy or not as long it passed my taste bud. But I'm glad I read this book it gives me idea what food I will eat that can satisfy my cravings that also gives me healthy benefits without depriving my favorite food. This diet concentrates on the consumption of foods rich in sirtuins. Sirtuins is the term used to describe supercharged proteins found in the body that regulate various functions such as metabolism, inflammation, and immunity. This duo discovered that certain plant compounds increase levels of certain proteins known as Sirt foods. Combining the basic protocol of calorie restriction and increasing consumption of Sirt foods increases the production of sirtuins. 

The duo stresses this diet isn't a fad diet. Sirt food is the key to unlocking the body's natural fat loss and healing mechanism. This diet has successfully managed the world of health and fitness. The Sirtfood diet was originally created to overcome the basic challenges of fasting while reaping all its benefits. Goggins and Matten believe this diet works by activating the skinny gene. While developing the Sirtfood diet, they conducted a study at their fitness center in the UK with 39 participants who followed the Sirtfood diet and exercise regularly for a week. The duo published their surprising results in their book "Eat Your Way To Rapid Weight Loss And A Longer Life By Triggering The Metabolic Superpowers Of The Sirtfood Diet." The authors noted that the participants lost an average of seven pounds at the end of the first week. They also noted that certain participants gained lean muscle mass.

The weight loss was associated with the conscious deprivation of glycogen. Your body uses glycogen to supply the energy required to keep going and maintain its overall functioning. When the energy levels decline, the body uses the additional stores of glycogen present within. Once these stores are empty, it uses fats to produce the energy required. One molecule of glycogen is stored with four molecules of water. So, when your body's glycogen stores are depleted, all the water stored within it is also expelled. So, the initial weight loss (the first week or so) is due to the reduction of water weight and the glycogen stored within. 

Once your calorie intake increases, your body replenishes the lost glycogen reserves. This is the reason the Sirtfood diet prescribes healthy calorie restriction. By increasing your sirtuin-rich food intake, you give your body all the nutrients it needs without the unnecessary calories. This diet is about eating smart instead of eating less.

Chapter 2: How to Follow the Sirtfood Diet 

The Sirtfood diet is divided into two phases. You need to follow specific instructions in each phase because they help change your body's overall metabolism. Phase 1 and 2 of this diet lasts for three weeks altogether. After this, you must follow the diet for longer to attain your weight loss and fitness objectives.

Phase 1 

During phase 1 of this diet, your calorie intake is reduced to 1000 calories per day. It is also known as the hyper-success stage and lasts for one week. The seven days are further divided into two segments. During the first three days of the diet, your calorie intake is 1000 calories per day. After that, your calorie intake increases to 1500 calories per day. You need to drink three Sirtfood green juices and eat one meal per day within the allocated 1000 calories. After the three-day period, you can consume two Sirtfood diet meals and drink two juices within the 1500-calorie limit. 

Phase 2 

Once you have completed the phase-1 of this diet, don't forget to congratulate yourself! Phase 1 is perhaps the toughest part of this diet; once completed, the rest becomes easier. Phase 2 of this diet is also known as the maintenance stage, and its primary goal is to ensure that all the benefits derived during the previous stage are maintained. Don't worry about consuming juices instead of meals during this period. During the maintenance period, you can consume three wholesome Sirtfood meals and one Sirtfood juice. This phase lasts for two weeks. By increasing the consumption of such superfoods, you can easily maintain your body’s nutrient requirements.’

Once you have completed a cycle of phases 1 and 2 of the Sirtfood diet, you need to repeat the process again. Since this diet is sustainable in the long run, ensure you consume healthy and well-balanced meals. A major advantage of this diet is the overall flexibility it offers. A handful flat-leaf parsley

2 large handfuls rocket

1 medium green apple, cored, sliced

Directions:

Add kale, parsley, lovage, rocket, apple and celery into a juicer and extract the juice.

Add lemon juice and stir.
