Paul Springsteen
Paul Springsteen is someone that grew up in a medium sized town in Texas located in the united states. He went into the military upon graduating high school. Though it didn't last long he did get an honorable discharge because of medical reasons. After this he went to the local college of his home town. There he got a master's degree in physics. Due to illness he had a hard time in the job market before he discovered the joys of writing and wishes to spend his time writing stories for the forseeable future. This came about from a strange origin. From D&D of all places. He kept feeling like he was getting shafted from playing stories. So he pushed himself to write his own stories and enjoyed it. His stance on writing though is that he doesn't write to whatever is the it thing in the market. Instead he has a particular way the story is supposed to go in his head and follows that. So the reader should be aware that even killing the protagonist and having the bad guy win is a possible way things could happen in the story in the future.

Chapter 1
Saejang found himself in a strange but familiar place. While he walked around, he found that the people seemed to give him strange looks, but they passed right by him. It was all strangely familiar. The people looked Korean, however. He couldn't see Yeongdeung anywhere, though. Perhaps he was to be alone in this strange place.
He walked up to one of the men that was walking by him. The man looked to be around 30ish, and he was wearing something of a suit as he was walking. The man was 5'7" in height. So as Saejang walked up to him, he did have something of a height advantage. The man responded with something of a fearful expression as Saejang walked up to him.
Saejang was still wearing his phantom plate. So it was difficult to make out anything that was happening underneath the armor. Though Saejang probably looked to be quite menacing. There was also that the giant sword blood reaver was at his side. Blood reaver looked like it was some possessed blade out of the hells in the first place.
Excuse me, Sir. Could you tell me where we are?
Saejang asked the man.
I don't want trouble.
The man said to Saejang.
I'm not going to give you any trouble,
Saejang said.
We are in Bangseong. One of the 7 cities left of mankind.
the man said to Saejang.
Bangseong?! So then I am home. It does look much different from when I saw it previously. Perhaps some time has passed.
Saejang said.
Can I go?
The man said. Though it was kind of sheepish, the man seemed to be more irritated that Saejang would interrupt him, no doubt on his way to work.
Not so fast. Do you know how many years have passed since the 1st crisis?
Saejang asked.
It has been about 52 years since the first crisis, or in the terms of Bangseong, it has been around 25 years here.
the man said to Saejang.
Excuse me for my lack of manners. I am Saejang. I used to be here a long time ago.
Saejang said.
I am Dam Sung. Really I must get to work. If I'm not an hour early, I can't appear like I care more than the other people here.
Dam Sung said to Saejang.
I apologize. I have another question or rather a couple. Did you manage to survive easily on your own? Mankind is now subservient to other races?
Saejang said.
No, Mankind is still as strong as ever. We have made alliances with other races and work together. They value our technology. It matters only so much as we keep working, so if you don't mind.
The man, Dam Sung, gestured that he wanted to pass.
My apologizes.
Saejang bowed and moved out of the way of Dam sung. I thank you for talking to me.
The man bowed toward Saejang and then kept moving forward.
So Saejang was still in Bangseong. The architecture looked kind of the same. However, now it seemed that some of the old buildings still stood while new ones were erected. If the buildings could talk, perhaps he would be able to know more of what was going on. Though Saejang didn't really have that kind of power.
Perhaps it would have been nice to have that kind of power. However, Saejang's power was something else entirely. He could probably destroy an entire city. All of these people went about their normal lives and never realized the hells that are. Perhaps they don't know what is in store for them. Durook will undoubtedly attack Bangseong once more. Saejang would be there to stop it.
The people were going on with their peaceful lives. There were probably hundreds of people that he could see on or around the street right now. There were some cars, but some people were using horses to pull their carts and wagons.
There weren't that many horses either. That would make sense. The cars must be breaking down. It would seem that it would kind of outrageous to believe that they would be making new ones. However, some of the cars did look new. Perhaps they just couldn't produce them en masse?
Saejang thought to himself that perhaps it was best that they didn't know. Perhaps it was best that they didn't know that there were demons and others that sought to rule over them and tear apart their lives. Perhaps though, they would never realize. Saejang would be here, and for as long as he was alive, he would watch over the city.
It was interesting, though. The old architecture was something that you would see as a mass-produced architecture of the old world. Giant, towering apartment buildings. Bangseong had its share of high rises. However, there were other buildings in the area. There were some that looked to be remains of ancient Joseon architecture with a modern twist to it. Steel instead of wood. Though how they curved the steel beams was something that was unknown. Maybe a mix of steel and wood. A hybrid building of sorts.
There was a different type of building from the others. It looked almost alien in shape and appearance. The building was curved and round. It was like it was round, but it was bulbous and round in different parts. The building seemed to have pods or clusters that were round. There was empty space that was typically filled with different kinds of plants of sorts. Such a strange building, to be true. However, it seemed like it was made of some manner of a different material. Though how you would make it from wood is unknown, it would take a master craftsman to make something like that even happen.
Some things about the city were very different than others. For example, there was a feeling of a lower level of technology with horses pulling carts. Then there was the fact that Saejang, while walking, crossed a floating set of monitors. They were speakers that came out of them that were showing some kind of channel. There were 3 of them. Perhaps there were only 3 channels. Humanity couldn't have grown too much in this time, so it was something that perhaps they couldn't have more of them.
As Saejang looked at the floating set of monitors, there much have been some kind of sensor. The monitors started to point toward him and in his direction. He could see all three of them. Though what was on the screen didn't seem to change according to what he wanted.
Saejang looked at what was on the television at this time. There was one with a Korean man that was sitting at a desk. He was talking about various news stories. The news anchor made sure to have the most polite demeanor possible. The stories that he was talking about were of interest.
First, there was the story of a man in Bangseong that seemingly had hands that were 4 times the size of normal hands. Authorities are baffled by what this could me. A spokesperson for the Bangseong health system says that the man is still in the best of conditions. Surgery is not needed at this time.
Second, there was a story on a deteriorating relationship with the segrin. "Though talks of war are not on the lips of politicians, it is readily apparent that the Bangseong military force will need to begin training at risk of a possible threat. The ambassador for the Segrin said in a statement
