This is a picture of me, Lloyd Mayhew, and my dog Cayenne. I'm forty-nine years old here and Cayenne is eleven months old. This is our first book, and the reason I say our book is because she was by my side the entire time I was writing it. At the time of the wedding ghost picture I was twenty-nine years old. Foreword

The reason I’m writing this book is not to show I’m something special by any means. It’s to show the difference between someone who believes in a Higher Power and one who doesn’t. What makes a Christian and what makes an atheist? To me it’s the experiences in their life.

In this book are seven true stories in which after reading them it’s up to you to decide if they are divine intervention, supernatural, or coincidence. These events in my life made me a believer in God. They led me on a quest to find out the truth about what our existence here on this planet is all about. They compelled me not to just read the Bible but to study it in great detail.

In doing this I realized the Bible has been poorly represented by the church today. The truth about past and future events has been completely misinterpreted. This book, Divine Intervention, Supernatural, or Coincidence brings to light what the Bible really says about our past and future.

For instance, did you know there was a world before this one? A world that had advanced cities such as Atlantis?

Learn more about this and how it was destroyed at Satan’s rebellion. Learn what really happened in the Garden of Eden and how it affects us today. Did you know there are UFOs in the Bible? Many times the scriptures mention these flying vehicles.

The mission of this book is to help people understand God’s overall plan. In order to understand that you first learn there are three world ages. The World Age That Was, The World Age That Is Now, and The World Age That Shall Be. God does have a master plan for this world and for you. Once you understand the three World Ages and what transpires in each of them, you will begin to understand God’s overall plan.

It’s important to realize this book is divided up into three parts. The first part is the seven true stories in which you decide if they are divine intervention, supernatural, or coincidence. This part of the book is to try and proof there is more going on here than meets the eye.

The second part of the book is to unlock the truth about what the Bible really has to say about past and future events.

The third part of the book, Secrets of the Flesh is a more in-depth look into how the subconscious mind works.

THE

WEDDING GHOST

The Wedding Ghost

This picture was taken at the famous Dundurn Castle in Hamilton, Ontario. It was my sister’s wedding day, and the men of the bridal party were taking their photo shots at the back of the castle when an unexpected quest showed up in one photo.

There were many photos taken of the guys, but this image of a face only appeared in one of them. The picture was examined by The Hamilton Spectator and, sure enough, the image is in the negative. There has been no tampering with this photo whatsoever. The Hamilton Spectator did a whole entire page on this, and it also made channel 11 news in Hamilton. It’s often talked about on the Haunted Hamilton tour and tends to pop up on Facebook and YouTube. The face seems to be right next to me, Lloyd Mayhew the writer of this book. In fact, it was this photo that inspired me to write this book.

Every time I think this ghost picture is dead and buried, it keeps popping up somewhere. It got me to thinking of all the peculiar events in my life and how they helped shape me into a believer in God. All these peculiar events are 100 percent true, right down to the last detail. After reading them you decide whether they are divine intervention, supernatural, or just a coincidence.

The most common explanation for this photo was it was just a reflection of light. It could be an evil spirit, or it could be a guardian spirit—all this is just speculation, but one thing is for sure, you can clearly see a face. It’s also possible this spirit makes a few more appearances throughout the book.

Examining the Facts

1.The picture was taken at Dundurn Castle, which is directly across from a big cemetery.

2.The image only showed up in one photo and there were multiple shots taken. If it’s a reflection of light, it’s not in the other photos.

3.The image is in the negative and there has been no tampering with this photo whatsoever.

4.Many people who see the photo can clearly see an image of a man or of a face. This is why it made the local paper and TV news.

Uncle Jimmy

This story is about my Uncle Jimmy and how he saved me from drowning. My Uncle Jimmy was a great athlete. He played hockey and he loved swimming. He was my uncle by law, not by blood. He was married to my Aunt Joyce, who is my mom’s sister. He loved swimming so much they decided to put in a ten-foot pool in their backyard. One hot summer’s day they invited our family to come over and try out their pool.

At this time, I was only about seven years old, and I didn’t know how to swim so I was told to stay in the shallow end of the pool. My cousins Stacey and Jamie were there, as well as other kids from the neighbourhood.

The pool was beautiful. It had a big slide and a deep and shallow end. Now my Uncle Jimmy worked at Firestone so he brought home a big tractor trailer tire tube that was in the pool, as well. Most of the kids were in the deep end of the pool, but the ones that couldn’t swim had to
