Daughter of a Rose - María Jbara
I
Amarte es prohibido,
Siquiera quererte es un peligro.
Hablarte es mi odisea,
Una travesía que bombea
Sangre por tus venas,
Vino por mis penas.
Ejércitos de piedra,
Batallas en venenosa hiedra.
Fantasías mentales incoherentes,
Nunca estuvimos dementes.
No podré escapar,
Aunque podré rezar.
Amarte está prohibido,
Ahora, siempre y hasta nunca Cupido.
II
Tus pecados, sangrientos y divinos,
Los míos, lamentos y en alejandrinos.
Tu boca peca con la mía,
Mi boca la tuya, si pudiera, apresaría.
Tus labios pecan con otros,
No los míos, no los de nosotros.
Otros que te hacen jadear,
Con los que te gusta jugar.
No me querés ver llorar,
No me querías, falsamente, ilusionar.
Tus pecados son sangrientos y divinos,
Los míos son lamentos en alejandrinos.
Perdón por llorar,
Yo no me quería ilusionar.
III
Shower thoughts and bubbles popping,
Whispers in my ears heavily ringing,
Over your sculpture lusting,
One would think I'm just artsy.
Give me everything,
Whispers in my ears, now bleeding,
A flame that never left,
Give me the everything I'm craving.
One poem of a man to keep me going,
On and on until morning,
Your scratches and edges overflow me,
You keep me cluelessly crashing.
The man-made lyrics leaves me craving,
A love, a flame, ashes or even a glance,
Wrapped up in him, I dance,
Wildly, like wildfire exploding.
A savage being has been released,
And until our next gaze,
The beast will cry until her soul is deceased,
For she cannot live
